They must provide a valid reason why they did NOT hire a legal U.S. citizen. And that should be followed up on.

Then and only then should a work visa be issued.

This is out of control, our people are suffering, many will relocate for jobs.

We owe these foreigners nothing!

No more showing up on our doostep for their bogus asylum claims. Deport them back over the FIRST border they illegally crossed. Let the Embassy pay for their transportation back home. We are not their travel agent to provide them FREE flights out of our wallets!!!

The problem is not posting the jobs where Americans can find them
Employers are already required to do so via the labor certification process and technically as its written the programs work fine.

The devil is in the details.

Problem is they will require for a technology company things that are outright nonsensical. The department of labor isnt the more technologically savvy of departments.
"Seeking Americans that have 10 years experience in this thing that came out 2 years ago"

Thus the labor certification is granted.

Or they will make the job search ultra tailored to the individual they want to hire from overseas to try and game the system.

It's pretty terrible, because there legitimately are many americans in technology that could use a step up and are essentially being undercut by imported labor.

Then the imported labor wont be as likely to demand equal treatment when their employer literally has the keys to a greencard in hand.

Terminate the work program completely!

Employers can hire American's or go the hell out of business.
