I always assume when they claim 12 million, they mean 12 million from south of the border and don't include "other" races or nationalities. Why would the racist la raza claim the "others"? Know what I mean?

I suspect you are right Nightowl, I would further assume that Mexico knows exactly how many of their citizens are here illegally - 12 million. If you look at most of the "latino" activists - nearly all of them are mexican.

Odd how Mexico made a deal with Cuba to return any illegal cuban caught in mexico eh? Knowing the returned cubans will suffer greatly upon their return, they don't care, they don't want a cuban taking the place of one of their own. The hispanic caucus, NCLR, MALDEF - what ethnicity are their members? Mostly mexican no?
