Ron Paul calls AZ anti-illegal immig. law dangerous

An article (mod edit) discussing Ron Paul's views on immigration is entitled:
    “Worse than A Crime—A Blunderâ€

We need a winner who is committed to securing the borders and interior enforcement.

Those libertarians like Paul want open borders, which is why I cannot support him. He has some ideas I agree with, like getting our troops out of all those foreign nations, but I cannot support someone who wants open borders. A nation is not a nation without borders!

What we need is some pragmatism on the part of conservatives. A candidate who you agree with 80% of the time that has a good chance of winning is preferable to one you agree with 100% of the time who has no chance of winning.

As Voltaire said, "The better is the enemy of the good."

If conservatives don't learn this, we'll have another 4 years of Barry Nobama.

We need to unite behind a candidate we can live with and not try to have the ideal, "perfect," candidate.

My thoughts exactly. Seems we just discussed Libertarianism a couple of years ago.

I'm really shocked to see Ron Paul attack AZ's immigration law. A fatal err on his part. No more votes for you Ron.

Not only immigration but his stand on social security. All the money I've paid in to SSI and government workers will collect their pensions first. Here's the rub government workers don't pay into SSI!
