Why the fuss? Go Arizona!

There has been a lot said about the signing of the immigration bill in Arizona. S.B. 1070 makes it possible for local law enforcement to crack down on the illegal immigration that is such a big problem in Arizona. I have spent the last two winters in Tucson, Ariz. I was visiting with my grandchildren.

We from the Northeast do not have a clue as to the problems that are created by the illegals that come into this country every year. It costs the four border states billions of taxpayers’ dollars to deal with this serious problem. All one has to do is talk to a border patrol agent and you will soon learn how bad things really are south of here. There is rape, murder, kidnapping, theft and so many other crimes that go hand-in-hand with the trafficking of illegals.

Illegals are packed into vans that should only hold eight to 10 people. The driver will collect a large fee for each person that he carries. He will then pack 20 to 25 people into his van and head for the U.S. border. If the driver encounters the border patrol as he tries to enter the United States illegally, he will drop his “cargoâ€
