Immigration reform leaders from across America gathered in Las Vegas at the Wake Up America Foundation ‘Unite to Fight’ illegal immigration summit on May 27-29. The historic summit was designed to promote cooperation in the immigration reform movement which represents the vast majority of Americans that want America’s immigration laws enforced and illegal immigration stopped...

Leadership attending the summit met in private conference and has resolved to pursue the following:

-- To form a national organization designed to unify the movement and to increase cooperation and communication among immigration reform groups across America.

-- To engage in the 2006 election cycle on the local, state and federal levels in what will be the year of the illegal immigration issue.

-- To immediately engage in unified efforts to secure America’s borders, crackdown on employers of illegal aliens, and to block any amnesty legislation.

Immigration reform leaders are rushing to organize the rapidly rising movement in America to address illegal immigration. The leaders also agreed to continue a dialogue on unifying strategies via electronic meetings.
