Thread: Keyboard warriors: Lets start a local news paper!

One thing keyboard warriors can do is to start a weekly newspaper. One that has information not shared by the main stream media. One that has numbers, costs, names of victims and other information relative to the problem of illegal immigration. All could make fotocopies and distribute it outside local stores.

This will be a great tool to recruit ordinary citizens not informed about the problem of illegals. We need to start educating regular people with what we know.

The weekly paper will also have websites like ours and others commited to fighting illegal immigration.

This is just some brainstorming, please leave additional ideas and suggestions of what to write and where to distribute.

I really like this idea. The printing cost is the bummer. You have to have to find advitisers to back you. That is the hard part.

Well, it does not take much to print newsletters at home and then just staple them together.

Microsoft Publisher is a great tool for this. If you do not have that then there is Corel Wordperfect and it too has a noce newsletter format.

Keep it to two sheets each newsletter, otherwise you might lose readers interest.

People need to be informed of the statistics and the facts that the mainstream media does not publish because it is too politically incorrect.

Why couldn't this be made up say once a week, supervised by Alipac and each of us could print it off at home and dristribute it locally? Everyone is busy at Alipac but how hard could it be to set up what is being done here in two pages and let us do the rest?

Wouldn't it be easier to just give them the website?

We do not have the resources to launch a newspaper. We've been trying to get a newsletter together for some time but our most recent editor was deployed with the military.

Newspaper readership is down, the print media has been the biggest ally to the illegal aliens, and the cost effectiveness of the website cannot be outdone.

Doing a newspaper would be close to a full time task for 2-3 people and require thousands of dollars of investment.

JIGSAW, welcome to Alipac, it is good to have new ideas, keep on brainstorming. Right now we have to get through these elections next month. we could use all the help we can get with the focus campaigns and candidate surveys.If you would, check out the focus campaigns, we need help writing emials sending faxes,& making phone calls, to all these cities and towns who are trying to adopt anti-illegal laws for their cities. We would appreciate any effort you can make to help us.

How much can a few houndred copies cost? $10 at most. I am not talking about a full color newspaper. An ordinary black and white with a few photos and articles that illustrate the growing problem of illegal immigration.

If you are going to the market, the gas station, the doctor, church or any other place, take some with you and distribute them for a few minutes.
This shouldn't be something you will have to put a lot of time to do. Just print some up, and take them were ever you go. If given the opportunity and you have time to spare, take the time to give some out to normal strangers. A face to face is much more effective than a screen with information. The newspaper is just something to give them so they can read it or share it with others.

Lets all share relevant articles we feel are important to share with strangers we want to recruit. Lets share experiences and rapport regarding the feedback we get. We must have a salesmen mentality and know what our pitch will be. We will only get a few seconds of attention from strangers so we need to be quick and to the point.
