Please read, Michael Chertoff really wants CISPA to spy on ALIPAC Online
Please read, Michael Chertoff really wants CISPA:
Cyberwarhawks
Well it looks like a letter from open borders and cancer screening TSA lobbyist Michael Chertoff sent a letter to the Senate begging them to pass CISPA internet spying bill that can block out websites, illegally read private e-mails and stop e-mails from coming to your private e-mail account and expects the Senate to agree on an internet censorship bill. I keep reading how people will soon be getting rid of DVD and stuff because of the internet. Why has the internet been so successful, BECAUSE CONGRESS HAS NOT REGULATED IT, under CISPA the internet will be regulated. Please call Senator Ron Wyden, a democrat from Oregon and tell him to put a block on CISPA like he did with Protect IP or PIPA which was exactly like SOPA in the Senate.
Here is Senator Wyden's number:
tel (202) 224-5244
fax (202) 228-2717
Here is the link about a deal the Senate has on a CISPA bill:
Senators float compromise on cybersecurity mandates - The Hill's Hillicon Valley
Infosecurity - Senators propose compromise cybersecurity bill
As you can see, THE POWERS THAT BE after this week's Bilderberg Meeting are now telling the Senate that they has better have a CISPA bill on the table for President Obama to sign.
Please as well, donate to the Internet Defense League that has been trying desperately hard to stop the CISPA bill in the Senate. Everyone on here knows if CISPA passes the first thing CISPA will do is attack and spy on anyone online who is in against amnesty for illegal aliens entering and destroying American jobs and language in this Country.
So please make a donation and call the Senate at 2022243121 and tell them NO to Senator John Kyle and Senator Sheldon Whitehouse Cyber Security bill. We must not allow the internet to be regulated because YOU CAN BET, FREE SPEECH WILL BE GONE FROM THE INTERNET IF CISPA PASSES IN THE SENATE.

You can bet ALIPAC e-mail alerts will not get to your inboxes if CISPA passes because now YOUR ISP can block petitions and warnings to call Senators up to stop illegal immigration bills and Dream Acts. Plus under CISPA ISP's can even change wording on an e-mail and it will all be legal This includes online purchases and Banking information including Credit Card numbers. Not only does your ISP have to hand over your information to the National Security Agency or the NSA it can hand over your private information again including Credit Card numbers for online purchases and bank account passwords to third parties. If your ISP or third party loses that information, YOU CANNOT SUE YOUR ISP. A very dangerous online Spying Censorship bill indeed. Please call your Senators again at 2022243121 and tell them to stop CISPA.
THANK YOU ALL AGAIN.Last edited by sorg127; 06-08-2012 at 11:53 PM.

Thank you for keeping us posted on this. We will look into adding ALIPAC's efforts to the defense of free speech in America and oppose this bill if we these assertions are correct.

Note how the majority of internet resources are owned by THE PRIVATE SECTOR, and how the Federal Government is now rapidly moving to change this.
From the article source:
The Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee began holding hearings on cybersecurity in the late 1990s, long before the Committee's jurisdiction expanded to cover homeland security. In 2010, the 111st Congress, Chairman Lieberman, Ranking Member Collins, and Federal Financial Management Subcommittee Chairman Carper introduced S. 3480, the Protecting Cyber Space as a National Asset Act, to provide the government with a clear structure for securing its own networks and the networks that run our most critical infrastructure, for example, energy and water delivery systems, financial systems, nuclear and chemical, plants, and transportation networks. That bill passed out of Committee but was never debated on the Senate floor.
Last February, in the 112th Congress, Senators Lieberman, Collins, and Carper introduced The Cybersecurity and Internet Freedom Act, S.413, which was very similar to the Cyber Space as a National Asset legislation. Since other committees had related legislation, Majority Leader Reid directed all committees of jurisdiction to come together and produce a single bill. That bill is the Cybersecurity Act of 2012, S. 2105, which was introduced February 14, 2012, by Senators Lieberman, Collins, Rockefeller, and Feinstein.
The measure would protect federal civilian systems and the systems of the nation's most critical infrastructure, most ofs which is owned by the private sector. The Cybersecurity Act of 2012 is the result of months of negotiations with other Committees of jurisdiction; the energy, financial services, and chemical industries; national security and privacy and civil liberties groups; and a number of other government agencies. The Senate is expected to debate the measure in the coming weeks. Read letters of praise and support below.

Issa Previews 2012 Personal Democracy Forum
Published on Jun 7, 2012 by KeepTheWebOpen
Rep. Darrell Issa (CA) called into the Brian Lehrer Show to preview the 2012 Personal Democracy Forum scheduled for June 11-12 in NYC. The forum will feature Rep. Issa and Oregon Senator Ron Wyden as it highlights the ever-growing intersection of technology and politics.
Both Issa and Wyden led Congressional efforts to stall speech-stifling SOPA and PIPA legislation and proposed a crowd-sourced alternative of their own - the OPEN Act - written with help from the online community.
