Police remove designation of Minutement as Subversive

    Friends,

Please help me find the discussion about the Las Vegas police department employement application that had the Minutemen noted as a 'subversive' group.

Here is their response clearing the situation up and we need this info posted here at ALIPAC and across the web in association with these discussions.

"Subject: Re: Who are you calling a subversive????

Please be advised that the form in question is obsolete and has already
been revised. The new forms do not contain any reference to the
Minutemen, whatsoever. The previous reference was not concerning the
current Minuteman Project, but an older group by a similar name. We do
    appreciate your concern and input.

The old one is here, that included the reference. It is a sample app, but should be replaced with the new one.

The new app is here, which does not reference the group. Yes, it was another old group with the same name. The new group wasn't even formed until after the old apps were written. I read about it on a website.

We laid into the LVPD pretty hard, blasted Emails and calls to LVPD.

They took down the old version, but it still is out on the web Arcive wayback machine dated Nov, 5, 2004!

I wonder how many other LEO agencies or private companies have this in the application for employment?

    Might be an interesting project...
