Utah has proudly become the nation’s first state to offer a special class of driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants who will be ineligible to obtain the cards when new federal security standards kick in.
Another illegal alien sanctuary state (Wisconsin) considered offering the same benefit but the measure, inserted into budget legislation, was killed at the last minute over the summer. Until this month Utah was one of four states—including Hawaii, New Mexico and Washington—that allowed illegal immigrants to get driver’s licenses simply by not requiring proof of legal residency. Maryland ended the practice just last spring by denying licenses to motorists who can’t prove they’re in the country legally.

Is it legal to discriminate against legal residents? US citizens and legal immigrants are required to prove who they are, while illegals are not?
What happens when an illegal with a "special license" commits another crime? Will the cops all ICE? They'd better!
What is wrong with Utah??? Do they want a tsunami of illegal aliens? Does UT really expect these unlawful people to obey any rules?? Unbelievable!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I guess I over estimated the people of Utah. You can't even buy beer on Sunday's or after a certain time of night there - and here they are rolling out the welcome mat for IA's. Weren't they one of the few states not going broke? Why have they not learned from what is going on in other sanctuary states!? The stupidity boggles the mind!

Are these people required to prove they have insurance, like the rest of us? Or are they given a pass because they are only here to better their lives?

If the DHS was a legit organization then they would use these licenses as a tool to track and arrest illegal aliens! This whole thing makes no effing sense what so ever!!! Someone needs to take the state of Utah to court over this!
Where's Judicial Watch? Still sending out envelopes for donations while they sit on their A _ _ _ S and pretend to work in the best interests of this nation and its people?.
