At this link you will find the Farewell Address of George Washington, given in 1796. In it he warns us about the power and deceitfulness of political parties, and the ways they steal our freedoms. It is recommended reading for ALL American Patriots.

It is funny because I have heard this discussion brought up many times. How can reducing peoples choices, against their will, be democratic? Our MSM controls the choices. Great message and it's amazing the level of insight our founding fathers had.

In this case two parties are a lifesaver if we'll play it right. The parties have platforms. The Dem party has nothing in its' platform that might in any way impede the impending amnesty and many members are liberal. This is not the case in the Republican party. There are a number of platform planks that rule out the amnesty and there are many anti-illegal conservatives there to join. We declare the Dem party the amnesty party and the Republican the best hope for defending America. Our entire organization and every other that will join us need to register all their folks in the Republican party. That's where the guy is that "gets our message" after all. We put the party in power with a landslide. We then fight internally to stop amnesty and if necessary we'll impeach. Hey, the liberals will even help us do that! We'll have a place to focus our fight and one enemy(infiltrated by friends) to deal with. Divide and conquer. That's what they did to us.
