Game Over: New Report Reveals Just How Disgusted Americans Are With Washington

A Reason-Rupe poll, released Thursday, revealed the latest figures on how Americans view their leaders, and it ain’t pretty:

• Americans don’t trust politicians, period. They say that 75 percent of all politicians are “‘corrupted’ by campaign donations and lobbyists.” They feel that 70 percent of politicians take advantage of their power, using it to help their friends and harm enemies.
• Most don’t think the folks in Washington are doing a good job of representing them. 43 percent approve of the job President Obama is doing, and only 17 percent think Congress is doing a good job.
• Neither party is on America’s good side. When asked whom they would prefer controlled Congress, 29 percent of Americans answered Democrats, 24 percent answered Republicans, and 43 percent answered neither.

Basically, an overwhelming number of Americans view their leaders as untrustworthy, corrupt and bad at their jobs. If they were in any other career, they would have been fired by now.

Both parties have combined into one I call the DC Party, drinking, corruption, taking taxpayer money, only when these people leave or go to jail will America return to greatness.
