We need a campaign we're we get together and walk our neighbors and tracts near our homes and talk to people about the main issues. Ask what they are with them and if we get Immigration as one of the top three we ask if they are aware of ALIPAC and NumbersUSA. Once you have one or two or three they will spread it to others. It must be a concerted effort NOW before the November election.

If McCain gets the nomination, we won't have a choice in November election. What we need now is to STOP HIM! See here for a simple and easy way everyone can help with that:

That's a good idea. Putting flyers on windshields in safe neighborhoods would help also.

socal I think you misunderstood. I'm not saying we can stop McCain I'm saying because there are no good candidates we need to start working now to get the information out about NumbersUSA and Alipac. We need to bring in more and more members with level heads about this situation that are willing to be activists. It only takes ten contacts to spread the organizations information, those ten spread it to ten they know and on and on. BUT William we need some official business cards or something to carry with us.

Anyone got a printing business and want donations to get cards printed up so we can carry them with us at all times. Be a good girl/boy scout. Be prepared to fight Congress and Senate and add to our numbers.

Good idea. We could also give out flyers that inform folks on specific issues.

I don't know about you guys but everytime I go to the grocery store or somewhere I try to talk to people about it. And then they come out and say it "I'm sick of it!"

In fact the only 10 or 12 people out of hundreds I've talked to that ever did say they were for it were 2 foriegners and the rest were business owners or people with jobs supervising the illegals. Once the people are making money off them, even if they are the supervisors, they don't seem to care so much. I had one construction superintendant tell me he wasn't worried, "they'll never pass my education level". And the supervisors feel lucky to be the supervisor so they aren't going to make any waves what so ever because they feel the big wigs are looking and listening over their shoulders. Of course I have talked to probably 100 suspected illegals and they were all for it and most of them preached that La Rezza Junk. As I have found the legal latinos usually despise the illegal ones. I ran accross a few of those. When I was living in Charlotte our local park went from 100 black and white families on the weekends to about 300 hispanics in about 6 months. They were pouring into Charlotte by the thousands per day it seemed like. Everytime you thought the big wave was over another one would hit. Some were working for $3 an hour and who did they work for? Mexican contractors, so it isn't only American slave owners, the Mexicans do it to their own too.

so, I beleive if shamnesty ever does get passed, there are going to be alot of people out in the streets. Don't forget there are many people that are poor and don't have computers or internet. They feel more effected and are more disgusted then we are. At least we can come here and vent and get a little relief.

Yes, this way you can find target groups to join us. Be prepared and hand them information, small, short and sweet, websites to NumbersUSA and Alipac. Explain the difference of the two organizations and stress that through NumbersUSA you can fax your Senators and Congressman for FREE. That's a big plus to people.
