On Tuesday, May 29, President Bush visited an immigration officer training facility and urged Congress to "fix this system now, before it's too late."

Too late for what? It is always in order to repel an invasion, at any time, late, early, or right now.

Too late for what? Will we be overrun by illegal aliens and swamped by uncontrolled immigration if S.1348 does not pass in June, 2007?

Too late for what? Does he mean that if it doesn't pass now, next year will be too late, with accountability to the voters staring Congress in the face on election day?

Too late for what? Will S.1348 become politically untenable in another year or two, as the number of American citizens displaced from their jobs becomes unmanageable and impossible to ignore?

Too late for what? Is there a confidential timetable for the NAU and the NAFTA superhighway, which requires passage of S.1348 now rather than in 2008 or 2010?

What did Pres. Bush mean by the phrase, "before it's too late"?
