Great article!! I wrote a post a couple of years ago suggesting we get rid of DHS altogether and send the agencies back to where they were before. I spent a lot of time looking up all the agencies of DHS and researching their history to find out where they were before. Not sure how to search for it. In any event, the conclusion was it's too much power under one roof if you ask me and that's a HUGE problem. Hopefully Kelly and Trump and maybe Kobach when he gets an assignment can at least make some changes so it will function better than it does. Miller and Sessions may have some good ideas on structure as well.
