Google News - Immigration
This morning I notice that the new immigration bill is no longer on the google news page. Its still there if you search on it though. Odd, I expected it to be there longer.
There are articles on the minority population reaching 100 million. So now less then 2/3 of the population is paying for programs that benefit only 1/3. Of course the individual groups are stlil minorities but the will be even when the minorities are 1/2 the population, so I guess that they will still be able to justify the programs.
You do have to wonder why they are still treated as a minority in those area's where they are the majority...
The New York Times has an article on "New Demographic Racial Gap Emerges".

0 to 19 58% 20% 15% 4%
20 to 39 61% 19% 13% 6%
40 to 59 72% 11% 11% 4%
60+ 80% 7% 9% 3%

On my Google news page, I put illegal immigration as a selection. I seem to get more articles that way.
