Thread: Does this apply here and now?

Tonight I was thinking about the constant attacks on Americans, mostly of conservative law abiding Americans today, and wondered how well the many ways to describe what is going on, applies and what others have thought about it all. I have provided words, their meanings and the links to the sites in which they came from.

If even this tiny litle bit of information describes Americans, then why is it that the onslaught of illegal aliens who maim, rape and kill our citizens at will, not be considered genocide? Why is it that our government is so obsessed with focusing on the genocide of far away nations, when it is happening right here in their own country?

I can tell you why, they simply do not care, they have to be made to care and they need to be shown by us, that they cannot ignore this for any longer.

No, this is not a late night soap box rant, but after watching the video about Americans being killed every year by illegal aliens, I cannot help and think, where is our government in all of this? Are they so blinded by the racist groups with their special interest political agendas, that they have bought into the idea that is is "just random crimes"?

I am sending this video link to my two senators and all else I can, I think they need to be reminded, these people were once their constituents, but due to their lack of will power to racist special interest groups, they are no longer alive.

Let's start making them see what they have been promoting.

It is all about the money.

My perspective is that they want to silence because are side is getting through to people and they are scared. They want to silence any opposition because it will make sense. So look at it as good. It means we have impact.

Gogo, I thought a lot, about where it fits into prophecy. I am unsure, but it must, somewhere.

However, one thing that I do firmly believe is that we cannot change God's plan (the final outcome), but we have the ability to work towards change while we are still here and I believe we need to work to stop this.

I emailed my two senators, and implored them to take this seriously. I explained that had these illegal aliens not been in this country, as if our government had done their jobs to secure our borders and/or enforce the laws, these Americans would still be alive and with their families, including those murdered on 9/11.

Well, I don't see America in prophecy per se. However, Paul certainly used his Roman citizenship when he was persecuted and once he told them he was a Roman citizen they quickly backed off. I agree God is in control. He also waits a long time before judgment comes to individudals and countries.

I believe as citizens we have every right to speak to our leaders about issues that we are concerned about. I won't quit that's for sure.

When 9/11 happened, many people I know felt that it was mentioned in Revelations 18. However, I always felt it applied to someplace else.

I have also searched on the internet, for materials, if America is even mentioned in prophecy. What do you think?

In all of the prophecy messages and classes I've had America is not a part of prophecy in specific areas. It is usually contained to the middle east. However, in general prophecy that gives a feel for the end times it would be included. In the following text it gives specifics of the general condition of the world in the last days:

Perilous Times and Perilous Men

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,

I don't have a source for this but I was watching a talk show months ago, there was talk of Israel becoming a state and how that was one of the signs of end of times.

The thing that got my attention was that this fellow said one of the very last things that will happen before Armageddon is peace in the middle east.

Has anyone else heard of this?

Yes, Israel "regathering" is the first time that a nation in the history of the world had been scattered and has regathered as a nation. That is a part of prophecy.

The false peace you are talking about will happen world wide. This will be prior to the battle of Armageddon and the final judgement. I can recommend a book by Dr. John MacArthur, "Because the Time is Near". It is available in paperback through Grace To You Ministries. www.gty.org.
