Sounds like the guy with the BB gun was a nut case, and likely a racist one. It would seem his agenda was really only about Obama's race as our elections have little to do with him in the UK. It is a shame, but we also have nut jobs like that here too.

Sounds like their media can't get the truth right either.

Black council worker shot in the face for wearing Obama t-shirt

A black council worker was shot in the face for wearing a Barack Obama t-shirt after a racist gun man open fire in South Norwood.

Dube Egwuatu, 36, was also blasted in the hand and shoulder with a gas powered ball bearing weapon by a white skinhead in a broad daylight attack.

The black t-shirt bore the US Presidential candidates face with the word 'Believe.' Egwuatu, a systems analyst for Croydon Council, told the Daily Mail how when shopping at an off licence near his home, a man saw his top and started shouting racist abuse at him saying he “****ing hated ******s."

He left the shop but the man was waiting for him with a vicious dog and a gun concealed behind his back.

Egwuatu zipped up his jacket to cover up the image and tried to walk to his car when the attacker followed him and pointed the gun after opening the passenger door.

In fear of his life, he sped off and rushed to a south London hospital.

Mr Egwuatu, a Nigerian who’s wife is an immigration officer, said the "venom in his voice was frightening."

Attacker said - 'I'm going to kill you'

He continued:

“I couldn't believe it was happening - and just because I was wearing an Obama t-shirt.

“He was trying to make me walk somewhere quieter, saying: 'I've got something for you,â€

Britian has a HUGE Muslim population now. Dube Egwuatu sure sounds Muslim. Oops, is that considered PROFILING.

THERE ARE NOT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES HERE AT ALL. THEY COULD STOP MOST OF THE SUICIDES WITH MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES AT A FRACTION OF THE COST. AND IT WOULD NOT ONLY REDUCE SUICIDES BUT MANY VIOLENT CRIMES...AND SOME DRUG USE AS WELL.

What determines what bridge gets the net? If they put one at Golden Gate, then they should have one on Coronado Bridge as well. Plenty of suicides there also...
