Nicaragua and Honduras have TPS because of hurricane Mitch in 1998 and El Salvador because of the earthquake in 2001. Having family in Nicaragua I can tell you that hurricane Mitch did not devastate Nicaragua, only a small portion on the Atlantic coast was affected. The Nicaraguan community in the U.S. is very small and I can also tell you that not a whole lot of people are from the Atlantic coast and I personally know a few people that are on TPS because of Mitch who don't even KNOW anybody living in the Atlantic coast and their families were not affected AT ALL by the hurricane.

TPS enforcement is a joke, just like the rest of the enforcement from our do nothing government agencies! What do we pay taxes for??? To give to foreign countries!

TPS stands for : "Temporary Protected Status".

Thanks to Bush, we are now being FLOODED with Salvadorans who took advantage of this idiotic TPS scam! They have been rushing here for years and the first thing they do is join MS13! The TPS was supposed to be for 2 years only but this year Bush extended the TPS INDEFINITELY! The earthquake was 6 YEARS AGO!!!

The damage is irrevokable because these people WILL NEVER GO HOME! Bush has single-handedly destroyed this country in 7 short years. We will NEVER be the same again!

I think the US will never be the same again as well. Personally, I think there are MANY more illegals here than even the 20 million mark -- especially if you consider anchor babies. If even a quarter of the 12 or 20 million illegal aliens are women of child-bearing age, and each of them has two kids, guess what?

No other country offered our citizens TPS when we got hammered with huricanes. You don't leave your country just because of a disaster. You move to a different location that wasn't affected in that country.
