I'm Chester T. Kelley's (Republican for Congress, 4th Congressional District, Louisiana) campaign manager. Here is an excerpt from a recent editorial Mr. Kelley wrote:

The US government allowed about one million illegal aliens to enter our country each year for the past 15 years. This undermines our national security, diminishes the quantity and quality of jobs for Americans, and destroys the American way of life. Illegal aliens demonstrate no desire to learn our language or assimilate into our culture.

Americans protest-against and debate worthy issues like: racially-motivated school bus seating, flag burning, gay marriage, and abortion. Yet, neither Democrat nor Republican Administrations do anything to significantly secure our borders. The government's stance on illegal immigration mocks our courageous military men and women in Iraq who serve to our country - they fight for our freedoms while we leave our borders unprotected at home.

Our nationwide war against terrorism is negated when Arab, Asian, and Mexican illegal aliens are smuggled into America daily - frequently by drug cartels that also bring millions of dollars of illegal drugs here every month. Congress sold America to "Big Business" which wants cheap, easy labor. Congress also sold America to the Political Parties who vie for the votes of illegal immigrants given "amnesty" or "fast tracked" to citizenship.

It is time to stand up for America. I demand that the President and Congress secure the borders, stop illegal immigration, and take immediate steps to reverse the problems brought on by the tidal wave of illegal immigrants. There must not be amnesty of any type for these lawbreakers.

If we don’t stop illegal immigration, issues like racially-motivated schoolbus seating will be irrelevant.

Mr. Kelly needs to have Phil Angelides removed from his friends list. Mr. Angelides is an illegal immigrant friendly and would be very bad for California as their govenor.

Louisiana voters pay attention, Chester Kelly appears to be someone we need in Congress, especially if border security and illegal immigration is your priority issue.

Glad to find this board. Chester will be here in the morning.
