Excellent point, AmericanME. I never thought about that..... it is perhaps the FLIP SIDE of the other argument about SPANISH LANGUAGE political debates.... they are presumably justified by the fact that native Spanish-speakers need to hear the political debate in their own language.... HOWEVER, one argue that if they NEED translation of political statements and commentaries, they have not enough knowledge of our political culture and political facts to cast an intelligent vote....

besides, who does the TRANSLATING for them?... the news outlets who THEMSELVES have a pro-illegal, open-borders agenda....

so in other words, HispanicAmericans need to hear the news FILTERED... to fit the AGENDA of the LatinoPowerElite...

so says Loretta Sanchez (D-CA)(the one who cheated Berman out of his seat with illegal votes, it is said) .... who, in haltingly bad Spanish, proudly laments and brags at the same time, saying that if "all Latinos who are citizens voted, and if those who qualify for US citizenship became citizens and voted, we would have a Latino governor, Latino Mayors everywhere, we would control the school boards..."
this, in yet another AL OTRO LADO program called EL PODER DE LA MUJER (the Power of Women)...Latino women in the US...
Ms Sanchez even congratulated herself saying that "I am the first to show the way".... but there will be others..... HIJOLE!

so the conclusion is that Latinos/latinas are expected to vote for LATINO politicians, whether they are qualified or not....

clearly, these folks have given up on Mexico and will make the US their NEW-MEXICO... turning the US into another Mexico.... that part I believe...
