Protesters at a Donald Trump fundraiser at the Minneapolis Convention Center got between vehicles and jumped on the hood of a Secret Service SUV in Trump’s motorcade as the candidate was leaving the building.

WILL THE MEDIA IGNORE THIS TOO?



Police can be seen moving in to clear the protesters but only after a major security breach had taken place.

The Star Tribune posted a photo of police rushing in to protect the motorcade. The caption used downplays the chaos and harassment caused by the protesters.

At the Star Tribune website, there was no mention of the protesters blocking and jumping on a vehicle. The photo of police belatedly protecting the motorcade reads:

“Police pushed back forceful protesters in a tense moment as Donald Trump’s motorcade left a fundraiser at the Minneapolis Convention Center on August 19, 2016, in Minneapolis, Minn.”

The Leftist website Unicorn Riot accused the Secret Service of attacking the protesters who blocked Trump’s motorcade.

The Twin Cities Pioneer Press reported a protester claimed his foot was run over by a police vehicle in the motorcade.

“There were no arrests and no injuries reported in connection with the Trump event. One protester who was helped away from the crowd said a police SUV drove over his foot as Trump’s motorcade was leaving. Police documented minor damage to the convention center, including spray-painted grafitti on the exterior walls.”

Protesters pushed, verbally harassed and spat on donors attending a Donald Trump fundraiser in Minneapolis on Friday night, the Star Tribune reported.

The Minneapolis Convention Center area became unruly as attendees left after the event, according to the newspaper.

"Some fundraiser attendees were pushed and jostled, spit on and verbally harassed as they left the convention center," the Star Tribune's Patrick Condon reported.

Trump never appeared in public, according to the report.

A peaceful protest formed earlier in the evening, organized by the Minnesota Immigrants Rights Action Committee.

“You’ve got somebody out there saying things that used to only be said in the shadows,” said Giselda Gutierrez, a demonstrator who lives in Minneapolis, in an interview with the Star Tribune.

“I think what he’s saying represents something pretty dangerous for our country.”

The aggressive demonstrators reportedly didn't arrive until later. The later group of protesters hid their faces behind scarves.

Leftist agitators employed fascist tactics at a Donald Trump fundraiser in Minneapolis on Friday night.

Video shows protesters banging on the doors of the Minneapolis Convention Center where Trump was speaking to attendees.

When the event concluded, Trump supporters were forced to run a “gauntlet,” with many, including elderly women, being punched and pelted with garbage.

Leftist agitators viciously attacked attendees at a Donald Trump presidential campaign fundraiser in Minneapolis on Friday night.

Video shows dozens of anti-Trump activists shouting obscenities and throwing debris as they surround Donald Trump supporters attempting to exit the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Trump fundraiser attendees attempting to exit the building were forced through a gauntlet of punches, with one protester seen violently attacking an elderly man as another man and a woman caught the brunt of the brutal beating.

Some attendees attempting to leave the event were also spit on as they left the *convention center, the Star Tribune reports.

The private fundraiser Friday night marked Trump’s first visit to the state as the Republican presidential nominee.

Tickets for the fundraiser ranged from $1,000 per person to $100,000 per couple. The event was reportedly closed to the press, and Trump didn’t grant the media his usual press conference-style availability.

However, former U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, who attended the dinner did say: “People want to live, mind their own business and have a good job, and I think that’s something Donald Trump understands.”

“He’s a common-sense guy, not into political correctness,” Bachmann added. “He has turned businesses around, and that’s what he wants to do with the country.”

The Star Tribune site found a way to blame Trump and his supporters for the physical attacks by progressives, even while it posted a video showing a vicious public attack on a Trump supporter, and an apparent theft in public from a Trump supporter being escorted into the event.

But the Star Tribune‘s caption makes no mention of the attacks, merely stating “The New York businessman made his first visit to the state as the Republican presidential candidate for a private nighttime fundraiser at the Minneapolis Convention Center.”

The article mentions the violence in the second paragraph, while describing it as merely some people getting pushed, jostled and spat on, and suggests in the lede that the violence was Trump’s responsibility.

Donald Trump roiled Minnesota politics for a few hours Friday night without ever showing his face in public.

The New York businessman made his first visit to the state as the Republican presidential candidate for a private nighttime fundraiser at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Dozens of protesters gathered out front ahead of the event and marched around the large building. Later in the *evening, a smaller contingent grew unruly. Some fundraiser attendees were pushed and jostled, spit on and verbally harassed as they left the *convention center.

Wonder how many of these thugs were paid protesters?

If that is how they will continue to act, they should be fenced in an area with their signs, not allowed near rally attendees. They fenced in hillary protesters at the dem convention so it can be done w/o violating their rights - albeit they take away the rights of attendees to safely attend.

What is really creepy is how they attack seniors, women & those walking alone. Some of them look like filthy dirtbag losers - definitely paid to be there - sue soros, the city too, if you were harmed. Always make a police report for evidence, get contact numbers of witnesses.

Three quick points:
1. Trump is back in the game big time this week and they know it.
2. This is a presidential candidate, would they allow this to go this far if it were Obama or Hillary? Never.
3. Supporters need some sort of constitutional protection now from the federal government to protect their rights to support their candidate of choice.

It is time again for the Trump supporters not in attendance inside to be vigilant outside with cameras and quick contacts to police with pictures of any assaults.

Michele Bachmann on ‘Deranged’ Protesters Targeting Donald Trump’s Supporters, Motorcade: ‘Rent-A-Thugs’ Were ‘Looking for a Beat-Down’

The “deranged” progressive protesters who attacked GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s motorcade and targeted Trump supporters in Minneapolis on Friday night are being protected by Hillary Rodham Clinton, the Democratic nominee for president, former Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) told Breitbart News exclusively.

Bachmann, who ran for president herself in 2012 and was one of the top conservatives in the U.S. House of Representatives for years before her retirement after last Congress, is a Trump supporter and was at the Trump event in Minneapolis. Bachmann said the protesters were using profanity to verbally harass Trump supporters, spitting on them, and were so much a threat to the community that police officers advised people that they needed to leave through alternative exits.

Bachmann told Breitbart News via text message about the Friday night event:

"The deranged left was on hand at the Trump event last night in Minneapolis looking for pre-planned, predictably choreographed trouble. They were swearing at attendees as we arrived, spitting at whomever they could reach. They weren’t protesting as much as they were looking to beat people up. After Donald Trump had our wildly enthusiastic crowd riled up and on our feet with multiple standing ovations, the crowd tried leaving the building. Police officers told us protesters had physically attacked people as they were leaving the building and we were instructed to leave through alternative exits."

It was so bad, she said, the so-called “protesters” were really in her view “rent-a-mobs” who turned into “rent-a-thugs.” She went on:

"The ‘protestors’ morphed into rent-a-mobs, and then they became ‘rent-a-thugs’ looking for a beat-down. It was nothing more than Obama/Hillary’s lawlessness and disrespect for decency playing out on the streets of Minneapolis. The only idea the left seems to understand is physical violence used to intimidate political opposition. These brute thugs who attacked Donald Trump’s vehicle demonstrate exactly why we need to elect Donald Trump as our next President of the United States, so we can see respect for the rule of law return again in this country."

At one point, too, she saw protesters yelling profanities at police officers—and she said the experience was “frightening” to those ordinary Americans supporting Donald Trump for president.

“The media probably didn’t report it, but these protestor/thugs were running wild back and forth in a frenzy shouting, ‘F— the police! F— the police,’” Bachmann said. “For normal, happy Trump supporting people, it was frightening. Welcome to Hillary’s America. These are the people she protects and rewards.”

Hillary Clinton’s campaign has not responded to a request for comment on whether or not she disavows the actions of the violent protesters in Minneapolis on Friday night.
