Proud To Be An American
Hey all, I heard this song today and it reminded me of the recent mexican flag removal by the Vet Jim.
I know we all know the lyrics, but this song sends a very powerful message to all of us TRUE Americans. Enjoy!
Artist: Lee Greenwood
Title: Proud To Be An American
If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I’d worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
‘ Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.
That I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
And I’m proud to be and American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA."Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same results is the definition of insanity. " Albert Einstein.

I always get goosebumps when I hear that song, or when I'm at a rodeo or something where they do the Pledge of Allegience That's what's wrong with the illegals. They don't get goosebumps.
RIP TinybobIdaho -- May God smile upon you in his domain forevermore.

I doubt there's an American alive who doesn't notice and feel something when they hear that song.
It's a great expression of the love and appreciation we have for our country.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I love...
God Bless American
land that I love....Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother
