Time to have a serious discussion.

Time to have a serious discussion I was listening to Tom Martino today and I need to see where ALIPAC members stand on the issue of how far are you willing to go to protect the border. The premise of the discussion was Tom was asking Denver listeners their opinion on the results of our border patrol killing the teenage Mexican smuggler. He thought since we used deadly force should any persons penalty for espionage on illegally crossing the border justify capital punishment. The results were shocking MOST callers and e-mailers to the show thought that deadly force was a good penalty for border crosses caught in the process AND capital punishment for those already here illegally!!! I was shocked at how pissed off people really are. Please don't take my word for it listen to the segment and decide for yourself.

    Its the 2pm

I agree with the Border Patrol in this case. People were throwing rocks and firecrackers. When someone is throwing things at you, how can you know that one of those objects is not going to be a grenade or some kind of bomb? The Border Patrol was right to draw and use their weapons.

I am sorry a kid was killed. By the way, how do we know his age? How do we know he was 15? The Border Patrol were not the ones to recover the body so how do we know he is who they say he is?

Anyway, back to the topic...deadly force on our border is OK if the persons are attacking or threatening the Border Patrol, or if the persons are wanted fugitives. If they are armed in any way....use deadly force.

I have a problem using deadly force against border crossers who are not armed. But it would still be OK for the Border Patrol to draw their weapons till they find out if the crossers are armed. This is how I feel at this point...however...I think it is possible that we may end up going to war with Mexico. In that case it would be OK to shoot anyone trying to cross....anyone at all.

I think non-violent border crossers should be put into very, very, very cheap and uncomfortable military jails (no hanging plants or soft mood music and massages), just barely kept alive on bread and water for a couple of weeks, then sent back across the border, with only the clothes on their bodies. Any funds or possessions they are caught with would be forfeited to help pay for their incarceration.
The next time they are caught, the penalty should increase to four weeks, then double again to eight weeks, and so on. Eventually, they will get the message. As it is now, they are mostly just released almost immediately, and can quickly keep coming back, over and over again, until they get it right.

However, if someone tries to hurt LEO’s, whether they are Border Patrol, Sheriffs, State or local Police, or are caught smuggling people or drugs, they should be executed on the spot. This may seem harsh, but too darn bad. Anybody who deals drugs is a serial killer, and deserves to die. Smugglers of people are just as bad. Besides, these are not exactly the choir boys of the world. Think Los Zetas, for example. These are seriously bad actors, and they torture and even burn people alive who get in their way, intentionally or otherwise. We need to start getting tough and start exterminating them, whenever and wherever they show up, before they exterminate all of us. This is war, and we had better start fighting it like one, or civilization is finished on this planet, and we are going to slip into another Dark Ages.

It is off the subject, but the same should be done for Somali pirates. Whenever they are captured, shoot them all and feed them to the sharks, or just sink their tiny boats and let nature take over. This sure would stop repeat offenders, and the word would get around when pirate crews went out and never came back, night after night, month after month. Eventually no one would even think of trying to capture a ship and hold it for ransom.

One of the ways they kill people is to wrap duct tape around their entire head and face so they suffocate. Nice eh?

Our Border was being invaded by some one coming ILLEGALLY, our Border Agent was under attack I guess getting hit by rocks is no big deal..... Well not to me as far as I am concerned this Border Agent was defending himself it might have been rocks but who knows if he had a gun or a knife.....end of story....

I want our borders protected. First on that list is smugglers and anyone who could be linked to radical Muslims, second would be criminal illegal aliens, and third is anyone coming here illegally to steal American jobs.

Now the order I put them in is that of the danger level to us. This to me, justifies force, and only when necessary, deadly force, but truthfully, not against those coming here just about the jobs.

This kid was involved in a physical confrontation with the Border Patrol, and yes, how could the BP agent know what would be thrown next, and he was alone, he did not have a choice in what he did to stop and disperse the group who was assaulting him across the mudhole. As well, the kid was known, obviously, by BP for his smuggling efforts.

Interesting we have hardly heard anything out of the Obomination administration about this.
