Racist Roots of Republican Party Immigration Policy
Racist Roots of Republican Party Immigration Policy
by: Joel Wendland
February 16 2011
Republican extremism on immigration could cost them at election time, especially in states with significant Latino populations, recent polling data appears to confirm.
According to pollster Fernand Amandi, Latino voters are reacting strongly against Republican immigration policies that emphasize mass deportation, racial profiling of Latinos, or other punitive measures such as harassment by police or withholding medical care to immigrants.
On a conference call with reporters this week, Amandi said, "As long as the Republican Party’s rhetoric and policies continue to be as extreme and harsh as they have been, you’ll see more and more Latinos leave the GOP not just in 2012, but for a lifetime.â€Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Here's the problem with this theory: the folks yelling "racism" are illegal and can't/shouldn't vote. The people supporting a secure border and enforcement of our immigration laws are citizens and will most certainly vote.

More Propaganda and attempts at intimidation. No suprise here and that Marxist tactic of whining racism is as good as dead now since the Demos used it up in Obama's first two nightmarish years...

Mark Potok, director of the Intelligence Project at the Southern Poverty Law Center, tied much of the Republican Party's anti-immigrant policies to three groups with innocuous sounding names that his organization labels hate groups: the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), the Center for Immigration Studies and NumbersUSA

So it is racist for the Republicans to want our immigration laws respected and enforced? Who is anti-immigrant? What lies these lefty, ethnocentrics toss around.
Why are Latinos making illegal immigration a strictly Latino issue and why are they defending them? I think the answer is clear who are the racists here.

Once again, the "racist" label is being selectively applied simply as an anti-white tool.
Also, this article completely over-emphasizes the importance of the "hispanic vote." It is a relatively small portion of the electorate.Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.

This is obviously HOGWASH!
If Fernand Amandi's fake polling info were correct then Republicans would not have won against Democrats bigger than any time in the last 70 years in November of 2010.
Republican Governor Jan Brewer of AZ with the Republican legislature made national news cracking down on illegal immigration.
Brewer's popularity jumped over 30% points quickly and Republicans swept the nation.
Fernand Amandi and the clowns that published this 'race card' article are clearly wrong and everyone can see it.
Here are the real polls about how Americans feel on these issues.

Someone needs to sue these goons for libel & slander. One good lawsuit would stop a lot of this b.s......
The facts speak for themselves, no way they could win if sued.
