Thread: What We need is our own rally!

Why the hell arn't we ralling aginst this tripe? All the illegals and thier supporters are "shutting down" cities today with thier rallies and protests and marches... why in the bloody hell arnt we countering this stuff?

I would like to throw something out for discussion.
Begin now to have a protest that the laws of this country are not being enforced on July 4th, 2006. Make this a well organized peaceful protest that can include all Legal Americans/Immigrants.
In planning this protest smaller gatherings would be made to really get a plan together and allow people to get together and see how Legal Americans/Immigrants feel about this important moment in America’s history.
1 Make plans and chose areas around the country where they may want the protest to be such as Washington DC.
2. Possible have bus, motorcycle, bicycle and walking tours to predetermined cities.
3. Really organize with other cities and groups that have the same outlook for the direction the Immigration issue/theme should be focused on.
I'm sure there are a lot of other things that could be planned TV, Radio and Newspaper advertisement of the event.

I few names for the protest.
1. Stop the Lawlessness in America Now
2. Stop the Madness and Enforce Americas Laws Now
3. US Government you’re being called on to Enforce our Laws Now

But sd_hog, July 4th might be too late. It seems like it's now or never, no later.

sd, THE MINUTEMAN PROJECT IS already TRYING TO PUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT TOGETHER. IT IS IN THE ANNOUNCEMENTS AND IT IS CALLED A CARAVAN TO WASHINGTON.

Maybe you'd like to read that announcement and contact those people. I'm sure they'd be glad to hear from you.

We need to do something to protest! Fox News seems to be impressed with the white tee shirts, American Flags waving, and that the Illegals will have at least 1 million marching today alone in several cities.

If we tax paying hard working Americans didn't have to go to work to support our own families everyday,and had the government's help paying our health insurance and food stamps, maybe we'd have time Monday-Friday to protest day in and day out!

Fox news is pushing the President's and the Corporation's open borders agenda. That is why they are promoting the white T-Shirt and American flag image lie.

I've donated to TAR (The American Resistance). I've written 30 emails and counting to Sens. Frist, Reid, McCain, Kennedy, Feinstein, Martinez, Hagel, Sessions, Kyl, Cornyn, Specter, Obama, Dorgan; to the President; Cong. Sensenbrenner and Tancredo; Gov. Schwarzeneger; Lou Dobbs, Anderson Cooper, Maria Hinojosa, Bill O'Reilly, Dennis Prager, Liz Martinez (liberal pundit); Mayors Villaraigosa (LA) and of SFO (I can't place his name at this moment, sorry, but I'm upset right now), networklobby.org (a Catholic lobby group for amnesty -- if you want to write them, just be polite and they'll be polite back, ok), and any guest on news talk shows who comes up with yet another rationale to keep illegals here. I continue to write them with each new development. I am always polite, get straight to the point with my counter-argument, keep it short, and sign it "Thank you for your service" or something like it. It is more productive than sending an angry screed or insulting taunts. It is also more effective if you write as an individual, rather than just joining a mass letter from an organized group. It is time-consuming but you can create your own template to copy paste to the government comment webpages.

We are under attack and spending our time to fight is worth the inconvenience.

We must get more news outlet reports of our planned protests, we must organize, now!

All persons here legally must unite like the persons here illegally. We can't give in. We have to get off our complacent couch potato warmers.

I am new to this board, but I am also one very angry US American. I live in a small NE PA town and I am surprise there isn't outcry on what is going on with our borders and illegal immigration. We have illegal mexicans in our town who have brought nothing but trouble. We had a local state trooper who arrested a man for being illegal, but he was told to let him go.

I am pissed...really upset that it's affecting my sleep. I am afraid our government will cave in to these illegal protesters.

I also was wondering where are our marches. I was wondering about having every American to flag their American flag on May 1 when the planned walk out is scheduled by the illegals. We flag ours all year....But I don't know how to get the word out. Any suggestions.l
