Thread: Idea About Helping ALIPAC..Attn: Mr. William

Mr. William, I tried to PM you on there, but it would not allow me to do so (said disabled). Anyways,

I was thinking of running an auction on Ebay promoting detailed message against illegals and setting it up as a charity auction only whereby all funds go to ALIPAC and I’d match it dollar for dollar (items may possibly be sold). Now, I don’t expect to receive a ton of bids, but plan to make it auction very visible and might possible do more then one to help saturate Ebay a bit more to gain lots of hits.

Additionally, I wanted to make mention of ALIPAC within the auction(s) and was wanting your permission to do so. Of course, in whatever I do, I will keep it within the rules of your own board and it will be tasteful and non-violent. I also plan to alert local media of the auction and have some other ideas to help give it more exposure.

Given the time it will take and all, I’m afraid whatever donations received would likely not come in until after your deadline. But I’m looking at this as more of a long term benefit to the organization.

Please advise your thoughts… this weekend, I might try working on my idea.

To all other members, your ideas and suggestions are welcomed in this matter as well.

We cannot accept any contributions from a company like Ebay, but I do not think it would be a problem for you to dedicate the proceeds from an auction on ebay as your personal contribution to ALIPAC.

We would need to hear about what you plan to sell and preapproved your messages involving our name if you would allow that.

We would also need to double check with the FEC as we do in all financial matters that we have not run into before.

From what we have learned so far, I think the FEC would approve if you did this on your own and did it to raise money for your personal donation to ALIPAC.

ok, then I think what I might do is do it on my own without mention of ALIPAC, but donate procedes to ALIPAC from myself to avoid any issues as a personal donation.

If nothing at all, people will be exposed to the illegal immigration issues.
