Sounds like support for him is growing quickly: even the President of the University of New Mexico has changed his tune from his initial public statement of outrage in response to his simple patriotic act!

Lynch is charged with criminal damage to property. He could get six months in jail and a $500 fine.

What idiocy, they should have paid the man for taking the Mexican flag down... and what the hell were they doing flying it anyway?

I also applaud Peter's lawyer John d'Amato for defending Peter pro-bono. It generous of Peter to want to donate the money from his defense fund to the Blue Star Mothers. Support for Peter is growing in Albuquerque a lot of his supporters are Hispanic and it does seem that Schimedly is changing his views on Peter.
