A Whitehouse Blitz after Bush Speech

    Folks:

The pesident is speaking to us tonight, trying to sell us a pigs ear as a silk purse. He will trot out some false border security measures, including 5,000 National Guard troops who will have NO POLICING authority what so ever, and talk about and electronic fence. He'll then talk about our compassion as a people, tell us immigrants (illegal aliens) are good for America, and that we need a guest worker program coupled with earned citizenship (AMNESTY). We know what is coming, so why not be prepared to slam the White House with our opinions, emails and faxes during and immediately after the speech?

Here are the crucial contact points for this Alipac action campaign.

Let's leave no doubt by the end of this evening that the American people want SECURITY, and that we do not want Amnesty, are opposed to a guest worker program, and do not approve of the dream act.

pinto bean, personally I'm not waiting until AFTER the speech. I've already called my congressman, emailed my governor, and called the white house. NONE OF THEM CARE ABOUT MY OPINION. They haven't cared here in California for 10 years. We passed Prop. 187, the first proposition of its kind in the nation -- to dissallow benefits to illegals.
The courts tore our proposition apart and the cities of SF & LA (to name just two) disobeyed it anyhow. The politicians don't give a hang about us.
Yesterday I was all for continuing to write and email and phone and fax. After the treatment I received this morning from the people I contacted, I am fed up with trying to do things the "correct" and passive way.

Here was my letter to the White House:

I am writing to voice my unequivocal opposition to ANY amnesty or guest worker program. We tried the amnesty route in the '80s, and where has it gotten us?

I realize that most of you Beltway types are utterly unfamiliar with the practicalities of the day ot day lives of those whom you allegedly represent. Perhaps I should share some of those realities with you from my perspective in one of the areas hardest hit by this illegal immigrant invasion.

First off, try going to an emergency room here in the Dallas area. Unless you are dying, be prepared for hours upon hours of waiting behind a pack of illegals who use the emergency room as a free of charge general practitioner. Did I say free of charge? In reality, the treatment is not free, but rather is paid for one way or another by the honest Americans those services are meant for.

Next, try going to get your license renewed. Again, be prepared to wait behind a choke that is 90% Mexicans using faked documents to not only obtain DLs, but to also be REGISTERED TO VOTE through the Motor-Voter Act. What a brilliant piece of legislation that was!

Now try making a morning commute. The roads here are choked with illegal aliens. They're easy to spot because they have fake dealer tags in lieu of actual registration. If you're unlucky enough to be hit by one of them, be prepared to have to pay for your own repairs, because they won't have insurance. And don't expect sympathy from the police. They don't want to hear about it. They refused to prosecute the last hit and run I suffered at the hands of a drunk illegal, despite the fact that I got the plate numbers and actually had a private investigator friend track down the perpetrator. Nope, the risk of flight is so great with the illegals that the prosecutor will not even bother trying to prosecute them.

The best part, though, is when they move into your neighborhood. Because they have no regard for our laws, they dump their trash in the streets, they speed up and down the residential streets and alleys where our children play, they have loud parties into the wee hours of the night, and they deal drugs out of the back of the house. If you try to say anything about their activities to them or if it is obvious that you have called the police on them, be prepared to have your automobiles and property vandalized or your pets abused or killed. That's the way it's done south of the border, so that's the way they do it here. After all, as far as they are concerned, they didn't move to the United States. They moved Mexico northward a few hundred miles.

So while we suffer the ravages of a foreign invading force that rallies behind the cry of reconquista, our alleged representatives can think of nothing except how to improve the lot of these bandits at the cost of the American people who are already their victims. For shame!

You guys can have Carl Rove issue as many statements as you wish claiming that the President's pathetic poll numbers are the result of the war in Iraq, but don't kid yourselves. They are the result of the VAST majority of Americans being utterly disgusted as you not only do nothing to stop this invasion, but actually encourage it and plot to reward these CRIMINALS with legal status. And before you chalk me up as just another anti-administration nutball, I should note that I voted for President Bush. Twice. I wish I could have those votes back, because as disastrous as I figured a Gore or Kerry presidency would be, I cannot imagine that either could have been as bad as this. I can't imagine that either of them would have given away the American southwest to an invading force that could have been stopped with little more than a policy statement of intent, as opposed to the welcome mat this President has rolled out.

There will be political consequences to this disastrous policy for generations to come. Your bungling will quite likely eventually precipitate a de facto state of war between Americans and the invaders who openly state their intent to reclaim the land Mexico ceded and sold to our fathers.

    Sincerely,

    XXXXXXXX

I think Fox must be supplying Bush's drugs..... cause no way a President of the United States could be sooooooooooooooooooooooo out of it.

But I'm ready to write and won't use any words more than 3 letters so he can understand the text.

I am tired of the status quo as well, and would like to see more pro-active elements added to the mix, but I am also going to continue my letter writing and phone calls....a huge negative influx of materials into the White House during and after Bush's speech let's him know we are not falling for his ploy.

When Clinton was in office you could have gotten in (plus a night in the Lincoln Bedroom) if you came up with enough money.

With Bush, I suspect you'd either have to be Spanish-speaking or a member of OPEC to get an audience unless you are Chinese, in which case you would be able to tell Bush when he was going to be allowed to meet with you.
