Reading bills a requirement.

I am not sure if this has been posted on here before, but I feel it is very important. I did not know about it's existence and it demonstrates we are in a pitiful state of affairs if this has to be made law...

Since I had not heard about this, maybe some of you have and know what came of it... In any event, it would seem that the problems of illegal immigration are plagued by this "phenomenum."

THEY VOTE ON BILLS WITHOUT EVEN READING THEM. THAT IS SCARY AND PROBABLY WHY THINGS ARE SO SCREWED UP. I KNOW WE SHOULD NOT NEED THIS LAW ....BUT WE DO NEED THIS LAW. MAYBE WHEN THE BILL IS WRITTEN, A DETAILED SUMMARY COULD BE INCLUDED AND READ OUT LOUD BEFORE IT IS VOTED ON. AT ANY TIME AFTER THE VOTE IF IT IS FOUND TO BE THAT THE SUMMARY WAS NOT ACCURATE THEN THAT SHOULD NULLIFY THE VOTE.

What I think furthers the insanity is that most of the bills are drafted by lobbyists.
