    RED ALERT ON Saxby Chambliss (R-GA)

    I just got off the phone with Senator Chambliss's office in DC where I was explaining our plans to protest outside the main state offices of any Senator that votes YES on CLOTURE for S. 1348. I still plan to carry that message to his state office in Atlanta, but...

    The staffer told me that Chambliss plans to vote NO ON CLOTURE. Please verify my findings and if the message holds true please convey your relief and thanks to Senator Chambliss.

    I asked the lady to tell him to vote NO on CLOTURE till REID pulled this damn bill back into a hole where it belongs!

    I did not get the same confirmation W. Anyone else? The staffer told me that he has not let them know how he will vote.

    According to our coverage earlier, Chambliss did not vote for Cloture earlier on S1348.

    The DC office is now giving a recording, saying that he is voting NO on Cloture. You can leave a msg but there is no way around this recording.

    Both Savannah and Augusta offices are ringing.....No answer, no recording.
