Boy, 12, Attacked By Other Students In Calabasas
Did The Controversial Television Series 'South Park' Spawn Attacks On 12-Year-Old Calabasas Student?

Is this a case of sponsored "hate on whitey". There is no indication of the race or origins of the attackers on the boy. I find that interesting as any indication of violence on a minority they most certainly ALWAYS mention the race of the perps. Curious if this was a racial issue or not. I don't know.

    Injustice every where we look.............

Of course it was racially based, but it seems persecution of "hate crimes" never occurs when white people are the victims.

Boy, 12, Attacked By Other Students In Calabasas
Did The Controversial Television Series 'South Park' Spawn Attacks On 12-Year-Old Calabasas Student? CALABASAS

The controversial television series "South Park" making fun of redheads as "gingers" may be responsible for two Friday schoolyard attacks that specifically targeted a 12-year-old boy with red hair and freckles, a sheriff's lieutenant said today.

The attacks occurred about 8:30 a.m. Friday, when the boy was kicked and hit in two separate incidents by as many as 14 students on the campus of A.E. Wright Middle School, sheriff's Lt. Richard Erickson of the Malibu-Lost Hills station said. The victim reported the incident after school, he said.

Internet postings about "Kick A Ginger Day" have spread like wildfire, and Erickson said the possibility that the Calabasas incidents were sparked by the phenomena was still being investigated Friday.

The term "ginger" was apparently coined three years ago on the "South Park" comedy series on Comedy Central, as a derogatory term for kids with red hair, freckles and fair skin. The 12-year-old victim has red hair.

In an episode first broadcast three years ago, the Cartman character describes people with red hair as "evil" and "soulless."

Erickson said investigators were looking into possible inspiration for the attacks to dozens messages on a Facebook page claiming to have carried out attacks on "National Kick a Ginger Day" on Nov. 20. But he stressed that sheriff's investigators have not finished their work, and are not positive that the pair of attacks Friday was sparked by the TV show or subsequent Facebook publicity.

South Park Studios officials could not be reached for comment this weekend.

Erickson said the exact length of time involved in each attack is not clear, but may have lasted for up to half a minute. The student's injuries did not require hospitalization. All of the attackers appear to be other students at the school and have tentatively been identified as either 7th or 8th grade males.

Erickson said no other reports of attacks have been reported to law enforcement, either at the middle school or at any other schools within the Malibu/Lost Hills Station's jurisdiction.

A script of the show indicates that the "South Park" kids eventually moralized against singling out redheads, but the sardonic, sarcastic tone may have caused the message to have been lost on some viewers.

The official at the sheriff's Malibu-Lost Hills station asked anyone with any information about the assaults to call (81 878-5536.

That's because, only white people can be racist. According to the rules of organizations like the ACLU.

I would never be so arrogant as to move to another country and expect them to change for me.

You're absolutely right Chi. Seems to be open season on white people
It has been since the 90's with "affirmative action". It has contimued to escalate and will get worse with Obama in office.

More attacks on redheads reported at Calabasas school

Three students reported being beaten up by about a dozen students at A.E. Wright Middle School. Authorities believe the attacks are linked to a Facebook group based on a 2005 episode of 'South Park.'

    By Richard Winton
    November 24, 2009

At least three youngsters in Calabasas have fallen victim to violence by fellow middle-school students after a Facebook group urged people to beat up redheads, authorities said Monday.

The first reported incident occurred Friday morning when a 12-year-old redheaded boy was kicked and hit by a dozen of his classmates at A.E. Wright Middle School, Los Angeles County sheriff's investigators said.

Detectives took reports of two more assaults, targeting a seventh-grader and an eighth-grader that day at the middle school, said Lt. Scott Chew. Investigators are trying to determine whether there was a fourth attack, officials said.

The students who participated in the attack may have been motivated by a Facebook message telling them that Friday was "Kick a Ginger Day," according to Chew.

"Ginger" is a label given to people with red hair, freckles and fair skin.

Chew said investigators believe the bizarre attacks were inspired by the television show "South Park." A satirical 2005 episode focused on prejudice against "gingers" after one of the characters claims that people with red hair, light skin and freckles have no souls and suffer from a disease called "Gingervitis."

Investigators have so far not made any arrests and don't consider the attacks to be hate crimes.

The first victim sought help Friday from a school nurse, who contacted the principal. Sheriff's officials arrived on campus shortly afterward.

Investigators say the boy suffered minor injuries, as did the other confirmed victims.

Detectives are investigating the incidents as possible assaults with a deadly weapon.

Facebook spokesman Barry Schnitt said the network relies on its more than 300 million users to report problems with groups or events. Staff members then follow up to see if groups should be removed or reported to law enforcement, he said.

Schnitt said he had not been made aware of this specific message or group.

"Inciting violence against any individual or group is against what we stand for and our policies," he said.

Little racists come in all colors. I have white friends who used to get picked on by non-whites all the time. But unfortunately racism towards white is ignored largely in our society.
