Rockfish....unfortunately, I started a board to discuss a march....NOT A LOT of interest...meanwhile, we have the AMerican flag banned at a school, and our students suspended for baiting illegals who have been baiting them with NO PUNISHMENT whatsoever.

This is the way I feel about it. I've been spending approximately 30 hours per week working on this. I have a family of five. I have lessened my hours at work in order to balance it all. I am furious. I am tired. I am stressed.

Once your eyes are opened to all of this it is almost impossible to forget about it and walk away. I do not see my fellow Americans doing what they need to do now, and I agree Rockfish and Pinto Bean it is time to protest. I feel that soon I will have no choice but to do the best that I can to accept things and to carry on with my life. I cannot spend the rest of my life feeling this kind of anger and disgust.

This morning I almost took a sign by myself and went to a corner to hold it. What stopped me ? Knowing that some illegal aliens would probably throw a bottle at the back of my head.

Those of us who are willing to get out there must have help. By 2008 it will be too late. This is the way I feel about it.

What school? Can you name one?

I work for the school system. In every classroom in my city that I've been in (and I go all over town as a sub) there are American flags and all but the kids who are too mentally handicapped SALUTE that flag daily, including the words UNDER GOD.

If there are schools where the flag is banned, then we need to attack them with everything we have and we need to start now.

I am contacting my Florida group FLIMEN. If they are not ready to protest by two weeks from now, than I'm going to hang my hat on the wall and tell my family, "Mom is back, she has finished her work trying to fight for our country. "

I would say to you to keep that site active and push it here with all of your might. The sheeple must ralley or we're doomed. We've got a disident traitor in the White House and a derelect Congress who don't know how to stand up against the greedy.

Why in the hell is the President having to reassure Vincente Fox of anything?

Dear President Bush,

The Senate is now debating the McCain-Kennedy bill (S. 1033). This bill would add 20 - 30 million more foreign workers and their dependents over the next decade to the U.S.

That is not what I want. Nor is it what 80% of the American people want and we don't much care what the people who snuck in here want, to be quite honest.

Census data shows that we already have nearly 50 million foreign workers, immigrants and their children in this country. When is enough enough?

Please provide leadership for the tens of millions of Americans who already are harmed directly by the presence of too much competition from foreign workers and too many foreign students enrolled in our education system dragging down the quality of education for Americans.

We need overall immigration brought back down to traditional American levels that are nurturing rather than overwhelming.

P.S. And in the meantime, please CLOSE THE BORDER so that more can't get in! Also, you have to stop laughing at your own people and stop calling us lazy people who won't work. Americans can't work with people they can't communicate with! It makes for a dangerous workplace. Ask OSHA.

And if they keep stalling around, if they don't at least close the border by the end of next week or make provisions to do so, I, too will be supporting American marches. Whatever happens will happen.

With all due respect to William and Roy Beck's group, I have no idea why we are being urged not to protest. Is it politics? Is it money? The answer from these gentleman is to put pressure on the legislator and that protesting ususally doesn't work...really? You mean like during the 60's? Seem to work then. Here I am in San Diego and I got two replies to my call to protest! That's TWO! In the meantime, The Minuteman group will not let me help them w/o paying $50 to do so.

And then I try to help PintoBean and what he says is true, I think we had 6 or 7 replies to create a large march.

Were losing the media war folks! The illegals are winning on all fronts as our government has sold us out and the media refuses to report anything else than the truth.

We understand that demonstrations have their place, and we will continue to post events that others organize, but in our experience, nothing beats good old fashioned grassroots lobbying. That has helped make NumbersUSA the #1 immigration network on Capitol Hill. The Senate is a much tougher nut to crack. If worst comes to worst, we'll rely on the House to kill a bad immigration bill. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

We are trying to play to our strongest hand. The other side will always be able to beat us with marches and protests. We don't want to put ourselves in a position to lose. We want to win. Roy will have much more to say on this in future alerts. Hang in there.

But the Senate doesn't seem to have the same feeling and they seem to be leaning towards a no criminal approach to the illegal immigration problem. From what I can tell, most Americans want a strict immigration policy that includes a stiff penalty for being here illegally.

The other problem I have is that this guest worker program seems to be an amnesty program in disguise. And like we have the resources to enforce all the rules of the guest worker program??? We can barely keep our police and schools operating.

Jeremy, please correct me if I am wrong on this but I am feeling very upset that we are not standing up for ourselves while thugs make our immigration policy for us.

I was in Escondido on Monday when the protests took place. It was a much different story than what the media is telling. A lot of these people were thugs and gang members starting trouble, full of anti-white slurs and signs, and intimidation.
