Rep Sheila Jackson Lee’s Answer On Immigration Will Astound You

in News / by Brandon Walker / on June 26, 2014 at 10:07 pm /

The woman that said the Constitution is 400 years old has said a lot of silly things. Texas Democrat Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee’s answer on Immigration will astound you.
In a press conference Thursday, in answer to a report from the United Nations High Committee for Refugees (UNHCR) calling on the US not to “harm the children” flooding over the border illegally, Shelia Jackson said something astounding:
“Yes, in some instances these are refugees. And this report indicated that these children are not coming for immigration issues; they’re being forcibly displaced. We ask Jordan to take the Syrian refugees, we ask Turkey to take the Syrian refugees, and all over the world there are refugees.”
I said it was astounding, not correct. They were talking about the flood of illegal immigrants over the border of the state she is supposed to represent. This statement should cause shock, awe, and amazement.
She represents the lower city region of Houston in Washington D.C., and she has just demonstrated how out of touch with Texas she really is.
Shelia Jackson was re-elected in the lower city district of Houston and is considered an outcast in Texas. She was nominated as the meanest in Congress and Worst Boss in Washington in 2011 and 2012. In 2012, she ran unopposed in the Democrat primary. She has been deeply involved in the “Turn Texas Blue” movement and implicated in voter fraud. She is a graduate and transplant from New York. She has been known to wear her pink sparkly hat to try to make people think she is in touch with Texans. She gets away with it because criticisms of her statements are twisted, claiming the disagreements are motivated by racism or sexism, rather than a lack of moral character.
She seemed to make more sense in the second half of the interview, knowing full well the damage this is having on our economy and well being. However, she did seem to be willing to accept the treaty and demand from the UN, just like an echo chamber for the impostor in the White House, always trying to undermine the Constitution.
“I don’t want them to be treated unfairly because of political grandstanding,” she said. “We have a crisis that all of us should get our hands around, no matter what our political party is. We have children who are in need. So therefore if they are able to stay, I wouldn’t want them to be rejected because somebody is fearful of political accusations.”
“People are desperate; they will hear anything they want to hear,” she added, pointing to the misinformation spread, she said, by the human smugglers and cartels. ~Breitbart
If she spent more time at home rather than in Washington, she would see just how accurate the information is on sex trafficking, pregnant teens raped by cartel members, drugs, violence, and terrorist organizations coming over the border. The only misinformation being spread is by her and her asinine statements.
My biggest question is why, if she’s “for the children” like she claims, is she taking orders from the committee of the UN made up of the worst offenders of child sex crimes, violence against children, and violence against women?

Houston is a sanctuary city, as we know, that probably influences some of her remarks.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee has been a top enemy of the Republic and Texas for years! It absolutely amazes me that folks like this keep getting reelected time and time again.

Sheila is a native New Yorker, I believe, that may explain it. Well, it is Houstonians electing her, so that's not all of it. LOL
