    Effective Strategy VS. Mexican Trucks?

As I was driving my son to school today I passed a few semi-trucks along the way I had a thought, I have one or two occasionally. LOL… I have at least three truck stops within a 10 mile radius of my home that are crammed full of trucks in the evening. I am sure there are many members here at Alipac that have truck stops near their homes across the nation. My thought was Alipac could produce a short factual flyer explaining the detriment Mexican trucks will have on America and American Truckers. We could set a date and pass the flyers out at the truck stops. I don’t think the truck stop managers would mind if we showed them the flyer. It may be a silly idea but I thought with the American Trucker being such a tight knit family talking on the radio while driving word may spread fast and it may bring a huge group into the fight. If the flyer idea is not doable how about talking points annouced on CB radio? Do Truckers still use CB's? I would be willing to hook up my old CB to spread the word.

Many of these men are working so hard to make a living that they miss a huge amount of news and info...and many drive for the very companies pushing this Trucking agenda...99 percent would never drive in Mexico ...and so you see why the companies want the Mexicans because they will do it all and for far less
Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother

I was more concerned about the Mexican trucks coming in America starting on Satuday driving down wages and not being inspected.

Not only that, but truckers will help spread the word. Just give some of them a handful of flyers and they'll pass them around.

I wouldn't want to be on the highway if these Mexican trucks start to roll. I have a feeling we are going to see more than road rage from our American truckers. I have seen how they handle undesirables out on the Big Road.

The Teamsters need to get US truckers to CLOSE down the US-Mexican border crossings w/a physical blockade. I bet the Teamsters will be SHOCKED how many US citizens will support and join in on the blockade. I'd be down there in a NY second! This will make the kind of statement that the citizens and politicians of the US CANNOT ignore. Truckers have blockaded ports and border crossings in Europe in the past -- it's time for it to happen here in the US.

    Ok that's a big 10-4.
I am about ¼ of a mile away from a major truck route. I am going to hook up my CB tonight and start broadcasting. All I need is some good short talking points, any suggestions? My handle will be Bulldogger, good buddy.

Was't there a trucking strike some years ago? Seems I remember it basicly shutting the system down. Maybe time for another one...

It's always been that American truckers were the best drivers on the road.
Now, because of George Bush it's going to be a terrifying on the road with total loosers that are not able to read English trafic signs. When the scab Mexican drivers do create wrecks where every they go the American drivers will get the blame.
