Thread: reply to my demand for release of prisoners who are parents.

I don't know how many of you remember, but about a month or so ago I took my frustrations out on my senators in the form of a satirical letter. In this letter, I demanded that they release all incarcerated Americans, regardless of their crimes, who had children. I implored Boxer and Frankenstein to think of the innocent children who had nothing to do with the crime, who are now being deprived of a parent. I was hoping to show the insanity of the argument that illegals with children should be given a "free pass" so not to punish the "innocent children". While I was out on vacation, I actually received a reply. I thought this was too funny to keep to myself.

Well, cayla, Feinstein's staff did better than Kay Bailey Hutchison's. At least they got the subject right.

This is a form letter in which "children whose parents are currently incarcerated." was inserted. This is identical to 3 I have received on different subjects. The subject (as shown above) being the only difference in the letters.

I was going to say, with the exception of the author of the letter, that's about the same response I get her in New Mexico. Is anyone really sure there is anyone there in Washington ?

Last Friday I actually got a phone call from our Representative's office. The secretary wanted to know what I thought about the "States" effectiveness in my personal experiences.

I bet they don't call my number again !
