    Reflection on today's pro-illegal events...

Well, the day is over in four hours my time and some interesting things certainly have happened.

    Something interesting to think about...

Weren't all these protesters supposed to show us today how much we need the illegals? By having millions going to protests, weren't we supposed to economic effects? Did you not get served food today? Did you not get a taxi? Did you not get your hotel sheets washed? Did anything even happen at all? As far as I've heard, nothing has happened. I think this sends a very clear message about the need for illegals in the economy (I had to laugh when Savage was referring to them as freeloaders )

    Something else I noticed...

Today's protest organizers seemed to have handed out a lot more US flags. I've heard from numerous sources that they told people not to bring Mexican flags. However, I did notice a lot of US flags being flown upside down, especially at the DC protests. If anyone can find pictures of that pleaes post them.

Also, we all know the illegal population here in the US is very diverse. While it is true that Mexico and Central America in general makes up most of them, there are people from countries all over the world. Did you see chinese, arabs, or others out protesting in huge numbers? All I noticed were the hispanic illegals. At the DC protest, half of it was done in spanish. I also noticed how the crowd always was louder when the message was translated into spanish. That makes me think the bulk of them couldn't even speak or understand English. I just find it very interesting that these protests had zero or little diversity.

Once again, we have seen how this group wants nothing but amnesty. We also saw some traitor politicians out in full force to get the illegals excited.

It also seems that many US citizens are getting furious over these protests. I've seen many who are now just starting to speak up.

If you have any comments, relfections, or important info about today's events, please discuss them here.

    Well

I cut my own grass, cook my own food, wash my own clothes and dishes. Hmmm, did not make any difference to me. The only ones it would hurt are the spoiled elitists.

    I just got flipped the bird and shoved out of line at the store, but otherwise I managed just fine. {guess there wasn't enough room on the bus for all to go}

    After posting this article:
    http://www.alipac.us/ftopict-22024.html

from the Drudge report about the Millions that were going to march, like the 50,000 illegal Koreans, and the Muslims who have had such a hard time since 9/11.

They didn't seem to focus the camera on any of them, but I could have missed it. I was running around from TV to radio to the computer like that chicken with his head cut off. Did any one else happen to see them?

crazybird, is it really that bad where you live?

We had some idiot, I will not mention his name on the Pittsburgh morning show trying to recruit some for the Pittsburgh area because we are too white here according to him.

My Husband called in and gave him a piece of my mind, because I was busy swearing at the radio.

Hey, I rather enjoyed my day Not much traffic, it was quiet and peaceful, and the stores were not crowded. I remember when it was this way everyday..........before the invasion of illegals. But tomorrow they will be back here in my hometown. Marches going on all week. I went out this morning to take pics but found out that they loaded up on buses and headed for Charlotte, and later I was told Raleigh, too. All that peace and quiet will end tomorrow. I want my quiet little mountain town back!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't doubt that there are some other ethnicities at these protests, but it seems the whole things are centered around hispanic illegals. While, they drop the word "illegal" and just say immigrants, it seems the speeches, music, and everything else at the events are centered around that group.

Interestingly enough, there were refugees from Darfur at the rally yesterday in Des Moines. However, I didn't notice them having any pro-amnesty signs. They walked around the place in a big line, but it seemed like they were advocating understanding of the Darfur situation.

My sister called me today and said some Asian illegals she knows told her that it is the Hispanic illegals who are opening the doors for all the illegal immigrants. Those Asian illegals were headed to the protests.

Yes Darlene it is. I do have to say there's been an increase since the rallys started of being more agressive about it. It was exceptionally bad in Florida, so I hope that hasn't caused alot of confusion. It's been mostly the young and I couldn't tell you if they were legal or illegal. I just know they are slated to build 5 more schools and we already have 15, there's always pressure for more of a latino presence in the schools. And I live in the safer part of town. My neighbors tell me they fear for their kids coz the gangs are wild. I know not knowing Spanish has kept me from getting a job yet there's a large indian [India} population that hasn't been a problem. For the most part people keep to themselves and reluctantly voice their honest opinion because they are afraid and don't want to be singled out. Plus they were proud to say they got as many busses as they could and only a mere fraction of the mexicans that are here were able to go the first big rally in Chicago. It's a sanctuary state. Certainly not as bad as the border states....but it's growing.

LET US NEVER EVER EVER FORGET THAT THEY WERE WAVING THE MEXICAN FLAG BEFORE BEING CONVINCED NOT TO! KEEP THOSE PICTURES OF THE MEXICAN FLAGS BEING WAVED AND POST THEM WHERE EVERYONE CAN FIND THEM!

WAVING THE MEXICAN FLAG WAS AN INSULT.. WAVING OUR FLAG IN EXCHANGE IS AN ATTEMPT TO COVER UP THEIR INSULTING OF OUR NATION!

To ALIPAC, CFTB, and ANY OTHER ANTI-ILLEGAL WEBSITES.. Keep those pictures up front and DO NOT replace them with those that show illegals flying American flags!! Show them for their TRUE COLORS.. NOT COVERING UP WITH OUR COLORS! Their insult should not be just swept under the rug, forgotten, or forgiven. THEY WAVED THE MEXICAN FLAG FIRST.. AND THAT IS WHAT SHOULD BE REMEMBERED!

ANYONE CAN WAVE A FLAG, IT TAKES A TRUE LEGAL AMERICAN TO BELIEVE IN OUR FLAG!

    Thanks.
