Republicans take us for idiots
All the Republican party seems to be interested in doing is finding other words to describe AMNESTY. If you don't like the word AMNESTY they will call it something else. Congressman Pence from Indiana once thought to be a real conservative has sold out. Remember the saying: A democrat will stab you in the chest(figuratively) A republican will stab you in the back (figuratively)
Congressman Pence went so far as to use the term ELLIS ISLAND CENTERS to try to get you to asssociate the invasion with legal immigration of the past. The republican majority/controlling party are scam artists.
If they invested their efforts solving the problem instead of scamming citizens maybe some real progress would be visible. But the R party doesn't want to solve the problem, they want to manage the problem and that means keep selling you a scam.
Amnesty is opposed by most conservatives so what do the Scam artists in control of the R party do?? They get a conservative congressman (Pence) to support amnesty....and...hope you buy the dupe.
Do you?

No......not at all. But they keep pushing it. It's like if they keep saying it enough times we'll eventually believe it.

They are also changing the name of FEMA, so we don't know that it is the same incompetant organization when they speak of it. Wasn't it Tancredo that said amnesty is a pig wearing lipstick? Or maybe the comprehensive immigration reform bill was a pig wearing lipstick, anyhow, I assume this means it is ugly underneath. Would this be the same republican party that is running an ex hardcore porno star for governor?

Being someone who formerly had Republican leanings - I feel very betrayed by the Republican party.
The thing is, I never had any expectations from the Democratic party.
So, it is the Republicans who think we are fools - and it is the Democratic party that thinks we are fools.
It really would be better if we worked toward stopping illegal immigration - not promoting one so-called party or the other - especially, when the 'other party' has been openly in favor of illegal immigration for many, many years.
That would be a little like putting the fox in charge of the henhouse.
We need new people in Washington who are beholden to the American people - not people who are beholden to one party or the other.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I think both parties think we are fools. Well they will get a surprise in the November elections. And they are hearing everyday from their constituents that we are no fools and if you continue to sell out your country and its citizens you will be out of office.
Freedom isn't free... Don't forget the men who died and gave that right to all of us....

NNTrixie makes a great point. NNtrixie said:

I second that!!
So let me ask NNtrixie and others who feel the same way, what you are going to do with those betrayed feelings? Are you going to swallow them and in doing so ask for more or are you going to pay back the treasonous R party by:Voting against every on the ballot on election day?
