The response I recieved from Perdue.
I kept my original email short and sweet...
Congratulations, because of your pro illegal alien stance you have lost yet another costumer.
Have a nice day.
This was the response...
Thank you for your recent e-mail. We value all of our customers and certainly don’t want to lose you. Therefore, we want to provide you with some background information.
Please understand that Perdue Farms is vigorous in its efforts to ensure we only hire people who are authorized to work in the United States. We have an extensive Employment Verification Process that includes review of documentation and more than a decade of participation in the Immigration Service (now ICE) Pilot Employment Verification Program, a federal program that confirms Social Security numbers and work authorization numbers. We have a long history and commitment to this integrity in our hiring practices.
I hope this information is helpful and that you will reconsider your decision.

Ms. James,
Your company chose to close certain plants in support of a riot and boycott against the United States of America. I refuse to give my hard earned money to a company who would allow our country to be taken over all in the name of profits.
Again you have lost yet ANOTHER customer.
This was my response...

If their efforts are so vigorous when employing people, why did they have to close plants to allow the illegals to have the day off?
This isn't something that can be decided on 24 hours in advance. It takes planning. Crews are scheduled to pick up chickens at the farms days maybe weeks in advance. Chickens aren't picked up if they're not going to be processed.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

[b][i] Three Cheers for SheBear and MooseTracks!!! That's the way to go! Yes, they think the public is stupid...that is obvious by their replies. Where do I find the address to write as well? Bombard them. Wonder if they will reply to your reply about closing for the day in support? Or will they answer the statement about 24hour notice and planning. Yes, they are guilty.

Perdue
Here's a consumer contact area from their website.
http://www.perdue.com/util/contact.html
However, we should use the corporate contact.
Perdue Farms Incorporated
31149 Old Ocean City Rd.
Salisbury, MD 21804 Phone: 410-543-3000
Fax: 410-543-3292
Steve Evans is the SVP, Retail, Sales, and Marketing
James A. Perdue is the Chairman, CEO and CFO
Here's my message to them that I sent through the consumer site.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I realize that you employ a lot of Mexican and Hispanic workers but closing for them to protest our country is just outrageous.
Illegal immigration is a grave threat to our country. Hispanic leaders are calling for "la reconquista" of California while their La Raza (The Race) organization is blatently racist. Your pandering to these groups sends the wrong message to these illegal invaders.
Therefore, my family will no longer be using your product.
Thank you.

Yeah, I remember when Frank Perdue, the founder of Perdue Chicken, got busted for doing business with the godfather, Paul Castelleno, in the '80s. Seems ole Frank was having trouble with the union, so he hired big Paul to help him with his "negotiations", if you know what I mean. After a few broken kneecaps, the union had no trouble coming to an agreement.
These are the kind of men -- the "champions of the workers" -- that keep making the righteous speeches about how much we need a Guest Worker plan.
