They are fighting with mayor - this is so difficult to go against all of them , they are standing in the streets , complaining and screaming .
This is so difficult to go against all of them .
The illegals are very mean when people do what they do not like .
I hope the mayor will be all right .
Who has Fox 13 , I live in Florida , they are showing a direct translation on the news

The population is only 9 000 , but it does not matter , people where I live say that this city is always trying to be independent .
I live about one hour away from it .
People around me are pro-illegals , but nothing matters .
What important is - this is the start of the snow-ball effect , the rest of the country will pick up , I wonder why they are so slow - I am talking to Americans around me and so many of them are pro-illegal .
In Florida 1 out of 15 people is illegal , maybe this is the reason .
I will watch more when they repeat it - they are translating directly

Hi Hope. No, I missed it. I hope the mayor pulled through okay.

You 'll see it again , they do direct translation . There is a meeting at the city Hall .
I think I should go there and buy something to support the city - I usually do not like shopping - but I'll stop there
I saw the Alipac store online - some nice things - I will get a mug and a tank top later on

What we can do is a letter campaign to express our support for the mayor tomorrow so that you don't have to drive an hour away to buy something.

I still can't figure out how your area could be so "pro-illegal", when I live 200 miles south of you, and we have more illegals here.....I would think.

My area is not pro-illegal at all. In fact the sentiments of the people down here are very anti-illegal immigration. Everyone wants the laws enforced even the people at Church. It's not that they have any "dislike of particular people" it just seems that they have aclear understanding of the ramifications of our country failing to uphold the laws and they seem to understand that amnesty or a guest worker program are not the answer to this.

We all care about "people" but we cannot carry the world on our shoulders. We would like to help people to believe in themselves that they CAN stand up to corrupt governments and they CAN build good countries.

Anyway, take care and tomorrow we will write supportive letters to the mayor !!

They're doing a great job in Avon Park. They're doing the right thing and sometimes doing the right thing is not easy. But somebody's got to do it, and it seems that a lot of cities and towns are "doing the job that the president doesn't want to do". (but is supposed to do).

I live in Tampa area - Spanish is everywhere - I will have to advertise my business in Spanish too , but I have a choice - I do not deal with illegals in my business - not all the Hispanics are illegal , but there are tons of them .
Even the services in my church - they have to increase the numbers of Hispanic masses - I went to listen a hispanic mass a couple of times
/ because I do not like to wake up early on Sunday -lol / - I'd say half of the church-goers are Hispanics .
Also , babies are everywhere - the weather is warm here and good for procreation - lol
The letter is a good thing - I will send him a letter , this is a good idea .
He is a Patriot and he needs a lot of support . I am sure that he was very stressed out about what he was doing - it can cost him his job and all the illegals will be against him , so he is a really strong man .
