    RICO Act

Looked into the RICO act (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) a bit and it seems that it can be a weapon to hit businesses that hire illegal immigrants. There has been court cases before under the RICO act! I have wiki it first to see what came up http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racketeer_ ... ations_Act
but I think we should all look into this to see if it can be used!!!

Not sure if this old news?

I know that is used against businesses and it was tried against the Pro-life groups. The Supreme Court knocked it down against the Pro-Life groups. I wonder if it could be used against La Raza and other groups such as that if they use themselves against business.

It does look like it can be used for organizations that are shady!

    Interesting article here:

RICO Puts Bite in Immigration Laws

In 1996, Congress expanded the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) to include violations of federal immigration law. The first civil case brought to court under the new provisions, Commercial Cleaning Services v. Colin Service Systems, came about in 2000 when a group of office cleaning companies sued a competitor for business they lost as a result of Colin Service Systems' pattern of hiring illegal aliens.

I think we could potentially get these advocacy groups on obstruction of justice (ie. making it more difficult to enforce the borders, as the ACLU has done while 'monitoring' the Minutemen) or if we can show that an American-owned business lost its market share because of illegal alien competitors. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a construction business or landscaping company that could serve in this role. In NC as a matter of fact, you could probably get a whole class action suit going. La Raza doesn't donate money to its affiliates, but they do lend their political expertise and advocacy apparatus. Under RICO, the godfather did not have to kill someone to be charged under RICO.

If we can show that one of those affiliates has contributed to the breaking of US law, we may be able to go after La Raza and their counterparts.

Good article. It could send ripples of fear to employers if this should be won in a court. The settled out of court case hurt the cause but this is a way to really look taking some employers to task.

If Tyson loses big in court it will send a rippling effect through this country. Wouldn't it be interesting to see Tyson shut down and no way to enter business again?
