    PLEASE SOMEBODY....ENLIGHTEN ME

I keep hearing how the Mexicans claim we took California from them and they want it back. Okay, so let's say every legal citizen left California and conceded it to Mexico. What would happen? THEY WOULD FOLLOW US!!

It's not more land they need. I mean, sure, we can give them more trees, more coastline, some mountains and desert, but that wouldn't do them any good. They need THE U.S. SYSTEM. Just giving them what they consider their land back doesn't do them any good -- they'd just turn it into another Tijuana. What they need are jobs that require no skills or education, welfare, free schooling and free medical care. They don't need more land.

So why do they spout this dribble? Why can't they admit that they need to be living in the U.S. system? What on earth good will it do them to take back land???

Take note, they have tried and used every single ploy they can get their hands on to evade the real issue. Race card, changing multiple webster definitions and legal as well. Bottom line how many times have you heard any rational arguement as to their illegal status?

I haven't heard notta one yet. I hear "oh the families are inter mingled dont split them up" "your a racist" "we are not illegal you are" "Oh you never break a law or speed or anything? So why can you choose which laws to enforce?" "This is our land" "well we are here now and aint going"
" if you don't like it leave"

Not one person wants to address the reason they are here illegally....

weren't all those that inhabited the land at the time declared American citizens? If the land and the people became part of the United States how can those that were non-residents be entitled to land they never occupied?

That's exactly the point, Jezzabell. None of them will admit why they come here. Their country provides them with nothing. They can't find jobs, they can't get loans to buy houses, they have no access to health care, etc. So they come over here to take advantage of a system that works.

So we can give them California back, but unless the U.S. government is still running the state, with U.S. taxpayer money, it would do them absolutely no good.

    here's the real history ...

what we now know as the southern US states belonged to mexico for only a short time in history. those who claim to be decendants of the aztecs, mayans, miztecs, toltecs, etc ad nasuem never occupied the southern US states either. their territory only went as far as the modern mexican northern borders. the only time the Aztecs ever ventured north was as raiding parties to capture Native Americans to use as human sacrifices for their rituals.

point of fact the mexican race did not exist until after the spaniards had conquered and began mixing with the aztecs.

if anyone the native americans have a rightful legal claim to these lands because the spaniards took it from them. it only came into mexico's possesion when they had their revolution and won.

they're attempting to use this argument as their version of a trojan horse to take the American southwest for Mexico.

Ever notice how the media has no problem using the terms "illegal wiretap" or "illegal CIA leak" or "illegal war", as in these things they consider to be "illegal". Yet they will never call an illegal alien an "illegal". Even though this the correct legal definition, it's always "undocumented worker" or "undocumented resident", or even one time I saw, "future citizen". What a crock.
