    Welcome to ALIPAC.

    HB 1942 was snagged by the dems and placed into a technical corrections bill and goes into effect on Jan. 1 2007. ALIPAC lobbying and activism helped get that into law. The Democrats in Raleigh did not pass it as HB 1942 because they did not want the Republicans to gain credit for the measure.
