    RUN FOR OFFICE

Come on people. Get out there and run for office now. There are many thousands of political positions there that we need patriotic Americans to fill. NO decent people are running because all I see in office are trash these days. I think I saw ONE...count it, ONE politicians whom I remotely liked and that was the Governor of Missouri. THEY ARE ALL SLIME.

How can we take back our country by letting THEM take office and trusting them? IT DOESNT WORK...

This kills two birds with one stone. NOT ONLY are Americans getting back to work, but we are also taking back our country...

DO YOUR HOMEWORK. FIND OUT WHAT IT TAKES TO RUN FOR MAYOR, TOWN COUNCIL, GOVERNOR EVEN!!!!

    GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You are absolutely right!

I haven't run for office, but I have agressively helped plenty of them during the past 18 months. I have taken many Saturdays and gone door-to-door, I have marched in parades for candidates, made phone calls and worked in campaign offices.

This is all while holding down a full time job. I don't think I have a right to complain if I don't do anything.

Well stated! I too am more of a behind the scenes person, but I work my donkey off when I am supporting a candidate.

I grew up across the river from you and in college had spent many hazy nights in your town. Are CB bars still open an hour later than Omahas? lol

I don't know how late the bars are open. I haven't closed down a bar since I lived in Anaheim, California back in the mid-1970s. I like house parties and barbeques among friends.

Good for you!!! Complacency got us into the current mess and it needs to start turning around.

As you know, presidential campaigning starts here in Iowa, so I was able to stand in front of a lot of the candidates and ask serious questions....We Minutemen and women are active here and pull no punches when asking questions.....and sometimes starting arguments with them.

California from 1971 to 1990, then Arizona for 2 years, then New Mexico for 2 years, Texas for about 6 years and now back to Iowa. As you can see, I've lived in all four states that border mexico.

    Oh, go right ahead!
