    Rift in Gop in Texas

Don't look for this to pass. This is just a political stunt by Rick Perry to enter the Presidential Race. The man cannot be trusted. He is in Bush's pocket.][/b]

????? What has Bush got to do with anything? Your not one of those blaming him for the floods and tornados, tsunami, Arab Spring this year also? He was blamed for the global warming so he changed it to Global cooling , still some people are not happy. If the Mavericks win and go all the way will Bush be responsible for that as well? Nobody even hears about GW and he likes it that way.

Tex,,, I don't make the news, Just report it. I agree Texas Trib sometimes seems like a little sister to the Huff Post. I do not think this legislation will have any problem getting through. SB9 originated in the Senate, Sanctuary originated in the House. Now that they are together everybody gets what they want. The only point in posting the story is, that those against it still have not accepted defeat and are parroting the same old mess about racial profiling and disenfranchisement of Hispanics in general. Now since that has not worked and not many belive it , they have to use scare tactics claiming the GOP will lose support. You know yourself living in Texas there is broad support among Hispanics for enforcement. Hell even the illegals do not want any more Illegals coming here. Just pointing out the job is not finished and last ditch efforts are being made by the opposition,, that's all.

If it requires giving up your beliefs to "attract" someone to the ranks of the GOP then we don't want them anyway, the idea of party at all cost is how we arrived at this point in history America in decline.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.
