... Also remember Bernie is a big 2nd Amendment guy so on that issue which is a big one for Vermont where he is a Senator, he would prefer a Trump over Hillary for that reason as well.

In fact, I should add gun rights to my list above which would make it 4 issues they have in common.
Sure, a ploy to scare the Democrats. A tantrum. But I'm stunned to hear Sanders is 2nd amendment. Who'd a thought? Things are getting truly weird. A socialist backing an arch-capitalist?

This sounds like a tantrum more than anything else. Why would he support Trump over Clinton? What are his political objections? If he honestly could support Trump politically, there should be a record to show why.
Things get heated up in political races and people do and say things in the heat of the moment that may never come to pass.

Why would he support Trump over Clinton?
You could probably answer that better than me. Why would anyone republican support Clinton over Cruz if they were the two nominees in the general election? Someone on this website made that statement a few months ago, so it really doesn't matter when it comes to having a reason or record why. People do and say things for their own reasons.

If you took the trouble to remember the post I made where I declared that I would vote for Clinton if Cruz got the nomination, you ought to also be able to remember that I made perfectly clear why I would do that. As far as I am concerned Cruz is not a citizen, he is another counterfeit citizen like the Obamination himself. As far as I am concerned, he might as well be the Obamination on a third term. At least Clinton is a citizen. Cruz owes more to the Democrats for his position in government than does Clinton hers.

Since you are clearly paying attention, you might also recall the post I made where I posted that I have registered as a Republican to support Trump in the primary here in CA. You might also have made note that I have posted that I would become a Republican if the Republicans dumped that state primaries nationwide and ran their own nominations. I am not now, nor have I ever been a Republican or a member of any political party.

Many Dems HATE hillary and will NOT vote for her. They are with Bernie because they have no other choice. Katrina would not make the story up.

Appreciate the response, however, for purposes of this website I would suppose that if it came down to Cruz as the nominee I could not understand why someone who may be vehemently opposed to illegal immigration in all its forms like myself would ever vote for someone like Clinton. She will make sure that every illegal alien in this country who has broken our immigration laws becomes a citizen. That would IMO perpetuate a situation that is more anti-American than a nominee who technically qualifies as a US citizen because of his mothers status. I respect your decision and clearly do not want to debate this issue with you or anyone because they are "what ifs" just like Sanders people voting for Trump. You are unable to grasp the idea that illegal immigration into the US is a far greater counterfeit to the republic than someone who has been birthed outside the borders by a US citizen abroad (this argument has not held up in court). We will just have to agree to disagree.

I think you understand very well that illegal immigration in this country is something based on counterfeit citizenship like that bestowed on Cruz and Obama by subversives in this country. You know as well as I do that they are the same problem.

Cruz and Obama give promise to the illegal immigrants that Clinton can only hint at. Cruz as president would give more fulfillment to Clinton's ambitions about illegal immigration than Clinton as president.

Cruz owes more to the Democrats for his position in government that Clinton owes to the Democrats for her position in government.

But you are bringing up the problem that plagues much of the GOP; they don't get out the vote. In Oregon we could have had a governor who would not have been an embarassment to the state (like the one who had to resign, and the current female who is openly bi-sexual, along with all of her feminist/liberal friends in state government) but the GOP doesn't work to get out the vote like the Dems do with their minions of college students and BLM activists.
