Please read the e-mail. I added in Tom Tancredo's article to the mayors e-mail. As you can see he is upset and is blaming this on the federal government.

Mayor Wall

Thank you for your quick response. I went into your police station about one month ago and spoke with an officer about my concerns. I am interested in taking out a business license for child care. I am working with the State of Utah now to get my license that is required. I am concerned because I do not know these people around me and am concerned about who is in this neighborhood and at the same time concerned about the children that may be left in my care.. These people will not come out into the open and speak to any of us.
I went into your police department this time to speak with an officer in person hoping that I could get someone out to investigate my claims.. My complaint was about the illegals in the houses surrounding mine. The house next door to mine, I have been trying to get someone out on for two years on. I have witnessed illegal human smuggling by these people and have been working with Immigration on this issue we have cars from California that come and go, parties every weekend, beer cans thrown around and junk being piled high next door. I told the officers that these people will not answer the door and claim to speak no English.
We have about 15 illegals living in one house. If you would like to contact Mickey Pahl and Dan Udall they will remember me. Mickey came out to my neighborhood in regards to a complaint on these homes about zoning regulations. I have had the police department out on numerous occasions in regards to my mail not being delivered because of parking problems, farm animals running around, license plate switching and blocked driveways.. We do and still have parking problems on my street. We have cars parking illegally, a gravel truck used as a car, a trailer on my street that has been her for over a month.
I have tired to get the illegal immigrant problem taken care of for at least 2 years. I have tried your office, e-mail, in person contact and Dan Udall to clean it up and take care of the problem we have here. Dan Udall put me in touch with Mickey Pahl. I think that he must have sent out some notices because things were cleaned up but are now becoming an issue again.
Taylorsville City has informed me over and over again that their hands are tied when it comes to illegal immigrants. The federal government seems to think that this is a city and state issue. If you have anyone I can speak with about illegal immigrants breaking laws please let me know. I have contacted the Federal Government, Taylorsville City, Governor Huntsman, Senator Hatch, Senator Bennett and Congressman Cannon. Everyone seems to be pointing fingers at each other.
I am letting the City again know that I have an illegal immigrant problem in 5 homes directly around me. If you would like to discuss this with me further I would appreciate your help.
If Tom Tancredo is in error please let me know and I will pass this e-mail on to him in the State of Denver.

Thank You.

Subject: RE: Illegal Immigrants breaking laws in Taylorsville City. We are crying for help.

Taylorsville has never declared itself to be a sanctuary city! I am also unaware of any actions by Taylorsville police officers or code enforcement officers to deliberately ignore ordinances based on knowledge that the perpetrators are in our country illegally. If you have information to the contrary, please let me know and I will take immediate action. Our officers are charged with enforcing the laws of the State of Utah and the City of Taylorsville. They do not have the authority to deport anyone. That is up to the federal government. The policy of the City is to enforce ordinances regardless of the ethnicity of the individual or whether the loud music is “Hispanicâ€
