SB 1070 ruling was expected. Normal for this...

This was a calculated strategy and it went according to plan. Most expected a split ruling and that is what we got. Does it feel bad...YES. Did we have our hopes up...of course...but don't let it get you to far down.

Anyone that understands law knows this kind of case cannot be "won" in a lower court. Both sides had appeals ready. I think she did the only thing she could do and that was to let both sides have a part win. At least it took the violence promised out of the IA sails for a time.

This moves on to the 9 circuit court of appeals. From there the supreme courts. This is not a surprise ruling and no one should get their panties in a bunch yet.

Just like the eligibility question. It will take years to sort this all out in court.

I am very proud of my state of AZ for pushing this issue into the light of day. In that we all have had a win.

Keep the faith!!!! It ain't over till we find the fat lady!!!

Even McCain laughed when he spoke of the 9th circuit court.

Like I've said from the beginning today - NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

Arizona, and every other pro-American state, city, community, county, and region are enforcing America's laws against illegal aliens.

What Arizona has done, along with other areas of the USA, is they've "expanded" acknowledged to patriotic Americans that there is nothing to worry about. That there "are", indeed, pro-Americans inside our government still.

What Arizona has told the world of nations is that mexico is a nation to keep their eye on, because if they will do this to their neighbor, then they will do this to ANY NATION they deem to do so.

Henceforth, any nation that mexico's illegal aliens are moving into are forevermore forewarned that mexico is coming to get them, and their nation, and if they value their people and their nation, then FIGHT THEM NOW, before they get their corrupt hooks into them and their communities.

I totally agree with you Hardline .

I think it takes an optimistic approach if you lose a battle then keep fighting until you to win the war.

All is not lost in todays decision, some good parts of the law were saved. We will just keep chipping away at the No Illegal Left Behind policy of this Adminstration until ICE is broken.

The many 10's of years (decades) that California fought illegal aliens from mexico alone has destroy that state.

Yes, we have more Americans now, but can California ever come back to being the all American state?

I believe that many demonstrating are not illegal aliens or their pro-illegal alien buddies. I feel many of the demonstrators are "for hire" people who are selling out to them for a paycheck.

The hand writing is on the wall. America is now aware and the nation is now tuned in. They see Obamanation attacking and berating Arizona. People can see that the constitution is being usurped. The tide has changed. But it will take time. The socialists will not change their ways easy and maybe not at all. The states may have to regain their sovereignty before a Republic and be rebuilt again.
