    SB-60 What's going on!

    Has anybody heard anything regarding SB-60 and if it has been vetoed yet? This is the bill that would give illegal invaders a drivers license in the state of California.

    The Governor has until tomorrow, I believe, to veto this garbage, or it automatically becomes law! Does anyone have an update?

    Thanks W4C! I'm also a member at CAPS and have contacted the Governor via the alert and e-mails, phone. It concerns me that he has not put a veto to this already!

    I've been calling the governor's office to see what's going on, but keep being placed on hold.

    It also looks like he has until midnight 9/30 to sign or veto the Calif. "Dream" Act:

    Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has until midnight tonight to sign or veto the California DREAM Act, a bill that would allow AB 540 students to apply for noncompetitive student financial aid. If he takes no action, the bill automatically will become law.
