Thread: This burns me up!!

I read an article in the New York Times today regarding a couple of illegal aliens who are suing some corporation for non-paid wages (or something like that...anyway, it's not relevant to my rant).

What really BURNED ME UP was that the New York Times had the AUDACITY to refer to these illegal aliens as "guest workers". Huh???? Since when did we downgrade from "undocumented immigrants" to "guest workers". Whos SAYS they're guest workers?

I HATE these bleeding heart liberal papers!!!!!!!! They have NO RIGHT to refer to an illegal alien as a guest worker. What next....rapists are going to be called "guest lovers"???

Who could be against workers? Pretty soon they will be called 'future citizens', arguing that they all just want to become citizens, and it's our racist laws that aren't allowing them to.

I think it's backfiring. Anybody with common sense, which the majority of American's have, know this is nonesense(that's putting it mildly).

It might go over in a third world country, but not in the USA!! NO Sir-E-Bob!!!

It's a switch by the NYTimes to Bush terminology.

Actually a number of Bush administration officials and Congresspeople have already called them future citizens.

It was mentioned just today on the radio that Florida is talking about banning the name "Illegal" Immigrant.

I do believe we still have freedom of speech, how they going to ban those words? The lady who wants to do the banning should be banned from public!

The latest term I have heard for them is "newcomers"
