Thread: Schumer offers 35 year-old trick_ open government and then we’ll talk border control

It was on the news this morning that Lindsay was off on his own tangent about DACA and his old 2013 amnesty bill. Trump spoke with Lindsay and told him no way, he's waiting for US Supreme Court on DACA before doing or considering anything on that. Lindsay then pivoted to support the emergency declaration which is important, because he's Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Grassley who is on the committee sent out a statement that he's nervous about it, and encouraged Trump not to use it. Trump is going to use it, he decided that back in December when the CR came down with no real funding for the wall and tweeted on Dec 19, "military will build the wall." He's been working on this for a long time.

Trump has already shut all that down. This was just Congresscritters trying in their inept way to make a deal of some sort. Trump got wind and shut it all down. I don't think we'll be hearing any more about deals that involve DACA, Dreamers or Amnesty, at least not in relation to the wall. Trump is going with a clean plan, on a clean action, with clean money, to build a clean wall, with no dirty deals, compromises, hitches, or corruption.

You can be very funny sometimes. This isn't about Trump getting wind of anything, Pelosi is not going to give Trump the money, not now, not later, not ever. If they offered Trump $25 billion today for a DACA and TPS amnesty, I think he would take it. However, we know that isn't an offer that is going to come.

No, he won't do a DACA for a wall deal. He'll do a DACA for his 70 point legislative agenda plus the wall deal. But too late for that, DemoQuacks will never give him his 70 point plan, so he's going to have military build the wall.

I have to disagree. I think he would support a DACA amnesty if he were offered the full $25 billion necessary for his wall, fence, chicken coup or whatever they're calling it these days.

As for military involvement in the building of a whatever, that still hasn't played out yet.
